Some might argue that /v/ had more games until they kicked /vp/ out, but {{tt|that's debatable|For the record, /v/ has never had video games.}}. The fact alone that /vp/ exists doesn't really help things, because now that Pokémon has a board all to itself, all the unsavory elements have broken loose: {{tt|waifufags|None of you like male Goodra, even ironically.}}, {{tt|furries|WELCOME BACK WOLFPACK, VERLISIFY HERE}}, and {{tt|general autism|Let's be honest, it's not like /v/ isn't even more autistic.}}. When it comes down to it, though, neither board in this rivalry can claim the high ground, because they're honestly both cancer in equal portions.
 
The first meeting between these two was a {{tt|[[2013 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Friendlies#September 28|friendly, one which /v/ won 2-0]];||back when /vp/ was shit}} /vp/ went on to decisively win the next match-up 3-0 in a game that led to the first hat-trick of the [[2017 4chan Winter Cup]].
