2013 Autumn Babby Cup

After the whole Dragongate incident, Weasel and Rehmix took over. The new managers managed to get /an/ out of the 2013 Autumn Qualifiers into the 2013 Autumn Cup. Following their strong showing in the Qualifiers, /an/ went onto win their group in the Babby cup, going undefeated in the group, and winning a berth into the elite 2014 Winter Cup. /an/ would end up losing their Knockout Round game to /gd/. Rehmix took sole control of the M/an/iacs following the 2013 Autumn Cup.

2014 Winter Cup

During the 2014 Winter Cup, /an/ placed first in their group among /b/, /hr/, and /soc/, winning all three of their games. /an/ secured it's first escape from relegation and guaranteed it's place in the next elite cup. The M/an/iacs lost their Knockout Round matchup to /wg/ in a controversial game that ended in penalties. /an/ ended the tournament in tenth place. Not only did the M/an/iacs escape relegation, they also jumped a whopping 28 spots in the rankings, jumping from 35th to 7th in the overall rankings.

2014 Summer Cup

In the 2014 Summer Cup, /an/ endured through the most boring group of all, taking a win over /f/ and putting everyone still watching to sleep with two 0-0 draws (against /b/ and /e/). This led to /an/ topping their fourth straight group with 5 total points. In the knockouts, they found themselves fighting familiar foe /gd/, having recently relegated former elite /sp/ in group stage. However, /an/ took a close 1-0 win this time thanks to some PES spaghetti. While /an/ would later lose their next game to eventual third-place finishers /vg/, they climbed to 3rd in the overall rankings after the cup, their highest rank ever. They also ended with their best cup finish, eighth place.

2015 Winter Cup

Despite being one of the more respected teams in the cup for consistently getting past group stages, Group F of the 2015 Winter Cup was too much for /an/. The M/an/iacs looked very strong against /n/ but only won 2-1 due to a great performance from /n/'s keeper, Airport General Mk. IX. After that, /an/ was surprisingly defeated by /asp/ 1-0 despite the latter team having little possession and less than half of /an/'s shots. The third match was against /tg/, and /an/ had to win in order to survive this group stage, but the animals were caught napping here in a 2-0 loss that eliminated them from the cup.

2015 Spring Babby Cup

From then on, /an/ had to pick themselves up from the 2015 Spring Babby Cup. Their 6-3 win over /tv/ proved they had some great potential in their attack, but also some defensive problems that needed to be addressed. Said problems weren't fixed until it was too late, and thus, /an/ conceded 8 goals in their next two matches where they lost 4-1 and 4-2 to /3/ and /gd/ respectively. In the end, /tv/ got the last laugh because their 1-0 win over /gd/ eliminated all the teams below them. Following that game, /an/ was left to play a meaningless match against /v/ that ended in a dull 1-1 draw that disappointed both sides. To make matters worse, Rehmix would step down as manager just after Summer, leaving the m/an/iacs to scramble for a new one before Autumn.

2015 Autumn Babby Cup

Once preparations for the 2015 Autumn Babby Cup had begun and a new manager, CollieBro, had been found, /an/ had promotion on their mind once again. Having taken extensive notes on the ups and downs of Summer 2015 and used the inaugural Lark's Madness as their own personal testing ground, /an/ entered Group B looking spirited and technically strong. However, it didn't start off well for them against giant killer /i/. When the now infamous ToS takedown happened at half time, /an/ was 2-0 down without a single shot on target. Utterly livid at /i/ for nearly killing the biggest giant of all, the m/an/iacs went for the jugular late in the second half, with two goals from Canadian Goose and a beautiful Squat-Toilet-style goal from Train Your Dog to Take It To The Vet to end the match 3-2. /an/ had also learned from their Spring mistakes, so when they faced group dark horse /y/, they tightened up their defence rather than going all-out. It payed off, with another Take It To The Vet goal in Fergie Time ending the game 1-0. In their next match against /r9k/, however, everything fell apart. The entire team seemed to be playing for a draw rather than a win, and /r9k/'s Elliot Rodgers capitalised on the lackluster performance ending the game 1-0 to the neckbears. The only positive note from the match came from Corgi punching Elliot Rodgers square in the jaw as the ball went in. /an/'s final group stage match was a must-win derby against old rivals /m/. Fortunately, the m/an/iacs' goal drought ended and they were able to blow /m/ the fuck out with a 6-2 victory.

This got /an/ to the 2016 Winter Cup, but there was still some business left in the 2015 Autumn Babby Cup. In the round of 16, /a/ was shockingly eliminated by /an/, and /fit/ completely shit themselves and lost 7-1. Not only was this a massive upset, but it broke a couple records too. This was the biggest win in a knockout stage, and no team had yet scored more than 6 goals in an >official PES15 match. After these great performances, /an/ was looking like a favorite to win the cup, but were brought back down to Earth by /out/ in the semifinals with a 2-0 loss. The third place playoff got /an/ against /pol/, in a tense match that went to extra time and ended with a 4-2 win for /pol/. Despite these missed opportunities, /an/ had well earned their post-cup treats and look to continue providing upsets in the 2016 Winter Cup.

Winter 2016 Cup

As Winter drew closer, things started to look bad for the team. Their overload tactics did not transition well to the new game as /an/ took the wooden spoon in the Test Cup 16, and CollieBro couldn't even download the game properly and fix the team. Fortunately the /an/imals welcomed new co-manager Heavenly_Pond to help the team with new tactics and testing, and CollieBro got the game to work before the export deadline.

/an/'s first match against cup holders /mlp/ was a daunting challenge for the team. This challenge was made even worse when Biscuit crumbled under the pressure and scored an own goal early in the first half, the first goal of the tournament. However, thanks to Take it to the Vet and a last minute effort by Scanned Snake, /an/ were able to steal a 2-2 draw. The next match against /vp/ proved just how useful a balanced approach can be. Every medal played well and scored a goal against /vp/ in a close 4-3 match. The last group stage match against /o/ looked favorable to /an/ as all the animals had to do was not lose by 3. Canadian Goose and >Outdoor Cat were able to exploit the holes in /o/'s defense, ending the contest 3-2 and securing /an/'s spot at the top of the group.

Just like the Autumn Cup, /an/'s run continued well into the knockouts. They drew elite cup mainstay /ck/, and though the final score was a close 4-3 /an/ looked dominant all the way through, thanks to another star performance from >Outdoor Cat and the two golds. In their quarterfinals game against /u/, it was a contest of who could break their curse: /an/ with the /ck/ knockout curse, or /u/ with their quarterfinals curse. Homucifer made a bold statement in the early minutes to make it 1-0, and despite a valiant effort and some odd tactical changes /an/ could not find the equaliser. /u/ went on to lose to /fit/ in the cup final and /an/ was handed another 8th place elite finish and 7th in the overall rankings.

Summer 2016 Cup

The summer brought some new faces to the team, one of them being new co-manager Alternative Roo to help out the cl/an/ (because councils are always a good idea right?). Fan favorite Harambe made his debut this season as well, spurring countless anons to get their dicks out for the fallen hero. The team's first game against /lit/ started poorly, being down 3-0. However, the /an/imals rallied back to end the game to a 3-2 loss. As the team would soon find out after /adv/'s destructive 8-1 win over /pol/, any amount of GD would help determine who would advance from this group. The following /pol/ game also started off with /an/ being down 2-0, but >Outdoor Cat brought the team back with a hat trick for a 3-2 win. /an/ would have to win against /adv/, the utterly dominant team of the group, to advance to the knockouts. Take it to the Vet's hat trick and Harambe's solo goal would send /an/ to the knockouts in this exciting 4-2 match.

/an/ would face rivals /m/ in their first knockout game. Fans waited eagerly for the colony to crash again. At first, it seemed to do just that as /an/ took an early lead. However, the /m/echs fought hard and through some tic tactical changes and defensive mistakes, /m/ were able to defeat /an/ in a 5-3 extra time match. Ending the knockouts early for the team with a 14th place finish.

The team also would be the last official tournament of CollieBro, who brought the team to the elites during his tenure. RIP ;_;7

2017

During 2017 /an/ would see an up and down roller-coaster of success and failures. Starting with the 2017 Winter Cup /an/ would drop out in the group stage with two losses and one draw, thus relegating /an/ to the following Babby Cup. Despite the previous hiccup, /an/ would go on to take the Third Place Trophy! after beating /wg/ 2-0. After the win, /an/ would go on to the 2017 Summer Cup where it would take a second Third Place Trophy! against /toy/ in a 3-1 victory. Sadly 2017 would see the departure of former assistant manager and current head manager Heavenly_Pond who helped take any to it's highest ever position in the rankings ;_;7.

2018

The start of 2018 put /an/ in the 2018 Winter cup, however they would lose to a revitalized /x/ in the opening of the knockout stage 3-4.
