Pre-Autumn Roster Survey Results

On September the 21st in the IMT some awesome anons made a logo to represent /w/. Upon seeing that I immediately knew that that should be the logo for the team. After a bit of discussion on the /w/ team a link to a roster survey was posted. These are the results and what is being done with the team as a result.

There were 5 total responses to the poll (Lear was not one of them) and all are deemed valid by virtue of having to be in the IMT to even know about the poll.

Current Players

The anons were asked if they liked the players and were asked to check off on a player to approve.

It should be noted that out of the five results two of the anons only voted for 4-5 players so either they really don't like the roster or they only voted for the players that they really liked.

Because of a tie I decided to step in and decide myself to break the tie. Our new anthem is Hikari no Senritsu by Kalafina.

Everything else

I just want to say how stoked I am that I got a good response on this poll, especially that I left it up for only about 12 hours and that it got such a response given that it was only posted in one preexisting thread (the IMT if you're wondering).

It should also be noted that on the survey there was one question which asked about the medal status of players and if they thought that they should be medals, there seems to have been a screwup somewhere along the line where every anon only voted for one player to be a medal so I have discounted that question.

Also I want to take this as a chance to thank the five anons who filled this out, you guys are awesome.

Post-Autumn Roster Changes

The below outlined changes were not polled but there will be a /w/ roster poll on the board before our next competition. I did not survey these changes because I wanted to make a survey close to the actual competition but felt the roster needed to be changed for the interim invitationals that are happening between now and then.

All of the new players will be starting on the bench with the exception of Girls With Guns, who will be replacing Re-Requesting as a starter.

Welcome the New Year Roster Survey

Towards the very end of 2015 I (Lear) started a cup thread on /w/ with the hope of getting feedback on the team. The thread was up for ~48 hours before it was deleted by the moderation team in that time the survey got 4 responses.

Current Players

The anons were asked if they liked the players and were asked to check off on a player to approve.

It should be noted that in this category one anon only voted for 5 players and another one voted for all of them. The popularity of some of the players is very different than the last survey because of the very small sample size so I'm not reading too far into the results.

Resulting Roster Changes

There will be no changes as a result of these results. This is because of the small sample size potentially distorting the results as players who got lots of votes in the first survey did not get the same here as well as I'm generally content with where the roster is and don't want to change things for the sake of changing things.

What should be noted that the four players who were added without being surveyed after Autumn got good results here and while I'm taking these results with a grain of salt those specific votes are good to see.

These results were surprising as I had seen complaints about the anthem but I guess that those complaints didn't reach these four. The current anthem stays.

Waifu Walls Alt-Horn

Credens Justitiam has earned its spot. This was something I was not sure of when I implemented it as the suggestion mostly came from one anon being very persistent in the thread. Turns out he was onto something.
