Rigged Wiki:News/Updated and New BoardInfoboxes

While normally updates to the BoardInfobox template are pushed behind scenes, the latest update is a bit bigger and will require some cooperation of managers. Also new are special BoardInfobox-templates for /vg/-League teams and fake teams.

Updated BoardInfobox

While this template might still look very similar at first sight, it has received quite some updates. Additional information on this template can be found on the page of the template itself here: Template:BoardInfobox. If for some reason the new template won't show up properly on the team page, add ?action=purge at the end of the page url.

Team music (was Meta information)

The first update is the renaming of the section Meta information to Team music. The parts HEX color and Nickname(s) have been moved to the team's general information section at the top. Second this section has received a minor split into anthems and goal horns. It is now possible to list up to 9 alternate anthems and goal horns. You can also name what kind of alternate anthem or goal horn it is at the left/bold site of the Infobox. To do this you will have to add the following values for anthems:

|altanthem1_what=
|altanthem1=
|altanthem1_title=

altanthem1_what is the kind of alternate anthem, the value of this will end up at the bold/left site of the Infobox. You can list various anthems like a special victory anthem, or one just for the knockouts of a cup, a special MotM victory anthem, and so forth.
altanthem1 is the link to the alternate anthem. Do not include any http(s) in the url.
altanthem1_title is the title of the song itself. This will appear on the right side of the Infobox.

And for goalhorns:

|altgh1_what=
|altgh1=
|altgh1_title=

altgh1_what is the kind of alternate goal horn, the value of this will end up at the bold/left site of the Infobox. You can list various goalhorns like a special brace goal horn, or one for a player hattrick, a special player specific goal horn, and so forth.
altgh1 is the link to the alternate goal horn. Do not include any http(s) in the url.
altgh1_title is the title of the song itself. This will appear on the right side of the Infobox.

Extra team color

The second update is the addition of Extra team color(s). Before, the wiki only had the possibility to list two colors, but PES15 allows up to four colors per team. To sync this you can now list your third (and fourth) colors via:

|color3=
|color4=

This will make the Extra team color(s) appear below the normal Team color(s).

As a reminder the HEX color is only used for your team at several locations on the wiki, not in the game. Team colors are used for in game stuff.

Babby and Elite cup results

Below Historic Performance a new section has been added where teams can list their appearances and best result for both the babby cups and elite cups. The following values are used for this:

|elite_cup_appearances=
|first_elite_appearance=
|best_elite_result=
|best_elite_cup=
|babby_cup_appearances=
|first_babby_appearance=
|best_babby_result=
|best_babby_cup=

elite_cup_appearances is how many times the team has appeared in an elite cup.
first_elite_appearance is the first elite cup in which the team played.
best_elite_result is the best result of the team in all elite cups.
best_elite_cup is the cup in which the best elite result was achieved.
babby_cup_appearances is how many times the team has appeared in a babby cup.
first_babby_appearance is the first babby cup in which the team played.
best_babby_result is the best result of the team in all babby cups.
best_babby_cup is the cup in which the best babby result was achieved.

Kits

Also very recent is the return of the Kits section at the bottom of the Infobox. To be in line with PES you can list up to nine outfield kits and one goalkeeper kit. The template uses the following order: 1st outfield, 2nd outfield, goalkeeper, 3rd-9th outfield. The first three kits are not collapsible, but the 3rd to 9th outfield kits are by default. A section for a kit will only appear if a link to the kit image has been defined. The following values will have to be defined to make the kit appear:

|kithome=
|kitaway=
|kitgk=
|kit3=
|kit4=
|kit5=
|kit6=
|kit7=
|kit8=
|kit9=

Always make sure to add a file extension. It is advised to use .png as this allows transparency and is lossless.

New VGLBoardInfobox

This is basically a modified BoardInfobox specifically made for /vg/-League teams. It has all rankings parts removed and the Elite and Babby Cup parts below historic performances have been changed to /vg/-League. To switch to this template, just change {{BoardInfobox on the page to {{VGLBoardInfobox . You will probably have to add some values yourself to make it work like |first_vgl_appearance= . More information on this template can be found on the page of the template itself here: Template:VGLBoardInfobox.

New SimpleBoardInfobox

This is basically the same as the VGLBoardInfobox, except the with the whole cup appearances part below Historic Performances removed. You will use this template for unofficial teams that do not participate in either the main cup or the /vg/ League. More information on this template can be found on the page of the template itself here: Template:SimpleBoardInfobox. To switch to this template, just change {{BoardInfobox on the page to {{SimpleBoardInfobox .
