Satellite tournament regulations

All Elite Cups, Babby Cups, and /vg/ League Tournaments, as well as many invitationals, are satellite tournaments in which the winners (and some runners-up) are awarded entries into the Champions League. For an invitational tournament to earn 4CCCL satellite tournament status, these regulations must be followed:

  • The tournament must be played in PES (duh)
  • If the tournament has a group stage and knockout stage, it must have a minimum of 8 teams signed up, with a sign-up list of at least 12 teams highly recommended
  • It should more or less follow standard football tournament regulations, with a group stage points structure that does not wildly deviate from the standard 3-1-0 format, if applicable
  • If the tournament is solely conducted in knockout format, it must have a minimum of 16 teams signed up, with a sign-up list of at least 24 teams highly recommended
  • The gameplay itself should definitely not wildly deviate from the Laws of the Game; so, no Golden Spoon Cup tournaments, nor Exodia 5-red-card rules, or automatic-win-if-goalie-scores rules, or whatever, just play normal routine football!!!!!!
