Intelligent Player AI and Goalkeeper ID

  • 2 – 3 player combination plays will be more accessible thanks to the improved concept of team strategy, which will depend on what type of tactic you set for your team. No longer will you have to rely on manually setting up and triggering a 1-2 as your players will now actively and intelligently run off passes into space and look for openings.

So looks like off-the-ball AI is getting "improved", and potentially a new slider/switch or two.

  • New goal keeper parameters have been added that will vary their choice and effectiveness in Catching, Clearance, Collapsing and Deflecting. This will add a whole new layer to our Goal Keepers character as you can count on him catching the ball rather than deflecting, or whether they are better at stopping close range shots.

So there's more goalkeeper abilities, which probably won't affect the 4CC as our goalies have flat values across all abilities (unless /merit/ wants to get balls deep in tweaking). Could also mean more GK-specific Playing Styles and cards, which would be nice.

  • Adding to all of the above will also be our Advanced Collision System, which has been significantly improved from last year’s version, calculating how players interacting and creating a unique outcome depending on the type of impact. This will also come in to play in our new physicality system that will really shine in Aerial Strength plays. You will now be able to disrupt larger and more powerful players or fight for the best position by simply using the left stick!

Maybe AI aerial battles will be less retarded in 2016. Maybe more retarded. Probably more retarded.

New and Improved Weather Effects

  • This new implementation will not only improve the effects of weather graphically in the game, but also affect the game-play itself, playing an important role in the revamped Master League mode and offline matches.The emphasis on realism will now allow for the chance of weather changing during a game and not just at the start of matches. The rain, combined with the new ball physics, will affect how the game is played, with passes speeding up and players with lower skills struggling to trap the ball. Defenders will also be hard pressed to stop their opponents as the rain can cause them to slip and fall on 1 on 1 situations.

So as of right now the 4CC plays on Fine weather settings only, which makes sense. Might be cool though to enable weather for cup games, it would give matches a little more uniqueness/variety and potentially add more >fun. Or maybe not. Mrhdsagdfs.
