Height Testing:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gksYvQr5Q5sAckibdhcPcihK-Kqq9vapb8hWrvpD4bU/edit#gid=0
Method:
/lgbt/ was chosen as the basis for the test, the team was setup as shown in the google sheet.
/lit/ was base copied from /lgbt/ players and had tactics set to match /lgbt/.
Each Team played 5 games at home and 5 games away.
Baseline Testing: All Players set to 205cm height, and 99 in all stats.
Initial Tests: All Stats 99, Heights Adjusted as Listed.
Height Abuse Tests: Stats Set to current /merit/ system (GGSS, Stat nerfs as listed on the Rules page), Heights adjusted as listed.
Deviation from average of 3-3-4 taken as an advantage.
Results:
(Height, W-L-D, GFA)
205-205 (99): 4-3-3 (0); 0.9-0.6
205-195 (99): 3-4-3 (0); 1.2-1.1
205-185 (99): 7-0-3 (3); 2.5-0.8
205-175 (99): 7-2-1 (3); 3.1-1.0
Clear Advantage appears at 20cm difference, in both deviation from average, and goals scored.
205-205 (GGSS): 2-4-4 (1); 1.0-1.8
205-195 (GGSS): 5-2-3 (1); 2.1-1.0
205-185 (GGSS): 5-1-4 (2); 2.1-1.4
205-175 (GGSS): 9-1-0 (5); 3.6-0.9
Advantage is lessened at 205-185, but worse at 175 due to weaker defenders. Goals Scored is close to all 99 stats
189-175 (GGSS): 8-0-2 (4); 3.3-1.3
Advantage reappears once stat nerfs are removed. 15cm is an advantage.
Conclusion:
Attackers and Defenders with a 15cm height advantage over opponents are more likely to win headers and crosses than otherwise, giving a 2 goal per game advantage similar teams. This translates into more wins on average for Height Abusing teams.

Aggregate of all Goalies from Winter 2017 to Summer 2017. These results are then averaged out to see how heights affected goalies.
Results:
Data Sorted by Height Tiers:
Height | Number | Average Games Played | Average Shots | Average Saves | Average Goals Against | Average Efficiency | Average Goals Per Game |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
174-180 | 12 | 1.3 | 5.2 | 2.9 | 2.4 | 62.6 | 1.7 |
184-189 | 87 | 3.5 | 15.3 | 9.3 | 5.4 | 65 | 1.7 |
190-199 | 21 | 3.4 | 14.6 | 7.8 | 5.2 | 54.3 | 1.8 |
200-205 | 6 | 5.3 | 21.8 | 13.8 | 7.1 | 62.3 | 1.4 |
Most Goalies in the 4cc are 189cm tall. Goalies from 174-199 had about the same allowed Goals Per Game, of 1.7. 200+ Goals seem to allow fewer goals per game, but had more total goals against, meaning they played in more games on average. 200+ goals had the same efficiency as 180 goalies.
Data Sorted by Games Played:
Games Played | Number of Goalies | Average Goals Against | Average Shots | Average Saves | Average Efficiency | Average Goals Per Game | Average Shots Per Game | Average Saves Per Game | Efficiency Per Game |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
3 | 24 | 5.6 | 14.6 | 7.6 | 51.1 | 1.86 | 4.9 | 2.5 | 52.1 |
4 | 11 | 5.2 | 16.2 | 10.1 | 64.6 | 1.29 | 4 | 2.5 | 62.4 |
5 | 12 | 7.9 | 24.3 | 16 | 63 | 1.58 | 4.9 | 3.1 | 63.9 |
6 | 5 | 8.8 | 23.2 | 12.8 | 49.2 | 1.47 | 3.9 | 2.1 | 55.1 |
7 | 9 | 9.1 | 28.3 | 18 | 63.8 | 1.3 | 4 | 2.6 | 63.5 |
8-14 | 7 | 14 | 38.3 | 23.6 | 61.6 | 1.4 | 3.9 | 2.4 | 61.7 |
Over more games played goals tend towards 60% Efficiency, and an average of about 4 Saves per game and 1.4 Goals Allowed Per Game.
Conclusion:
Height has little effect on Goalies in the 4cc. All goalies tend towards 60% efficiency, and about 2 goals per game.
