The 2015 4chan Summer Cup is the sixteenth official 4chan Cup tournament and the fifth iteration of the Summer Cup series. It is set to run over three weekends in Summer 2015 from July 31 to August 16, namely July 31 – August 2 and 7–9 for the group stage matches, as well as August 15 and 16 for the knockout round. The tournament features a mixture of teams that qualify from the 2015 4chan Spring Babby Cup, as well as the teams that managed to qualify for the knockout stage of the 2015 4chan Winter Cup.

This is the >ninth official tournament for commissioner DrBorisG !!uWmnP2zIyZF (now holding this position for longer than all other commissioners combined), as well as the second to be played in Pro Evolution Soccer 2015.

Competitors

Thirty-two teams will compete at this tournament, sixteen of the teams qualified by means of advancing to the knockout stage of the 2015 4chan Winter Cup, and sixteen qualified by means of advancing from the 2015 4chan Spring Babby Cup. Pre-Cup position in the Rankings is listed next to each team.

This is the debut Summer Cup for /cm/, /i/, /vp/, and /vr/.

Draw

The group stage draw was held on July 11th. The groups were drawn randomly, from four pots. Each group contained one team from Pot 1, one team from Pot 2, one team from Pot 3 and one team from Pot 4, forming eight groups each with four teams.

Pot 1 is made up of the top 8 teams from the 2015 4chan Winter Cup (the winners in the Winter Cup Round of 16). Pot 2 is made up of the 9th–16th placed teams from the 2015 Winter Cup (the losers in the Winter Cup Round of 16). Pot 3 is made up of the top 8 teams from the 2015 4chan Spring Babby Cup. Pot 4 is made up of the 9th–16th placed teams from the 2015 Spring Babby Cup.
