/mtg/ is the highly demanded Tag Team Cup 2 combination of long-time battle-brothers  /m/ and /tg/ .

In their inaugural debut /mtg/ would dominate /fitn/ and would ultimately finish first in Group A with 9 points, coming out on top of /fitn/ and /tvs4s/ after those two teams could not best /anco/ and /xd/ in their final matches. Having placed first, /mtg/ was seeded directly into the semi-finals where they would have a rematch with /tvs4s/, who had given the team their only group stage loss. This time they would rally to beat /tvs4s/ after extra time, and would go on to face /wu/ in the finals. /mtg/ would be defeated by /wu/ in a lopsided final, and would take second place in the cup.
