:::I get that (I can see the kit removal in the history), but like this it requires editing of all the team pages with kits (like the VGL change), and it's something one needs to know to activate (also there currently is only one person doing these). If it's made automatic like the logos but hidden behind a collapsible, it doesn't take lots of space away unless expanded (so it's not that obviously useless on team pages without kit files), no page changes would be required (except the already uploaded kit files), and the kits that don't exist could default to the template so it {{tt|incites people to edit them for their team|<nowiki>></nowiki>implying implications}}. Additional away kits could still be put behind options. It would also force a more useful naming scheme for the files than what Kitfag currently uses, one where the files simply need to be updated, which also has the advantage of presenting an easily accessible history of kits (not that that would be impossible with this system, but he's not doing it right now since he puts specific Cups in the filename). I think it would be more useful this way. <small>I should also be able to do this myself so I just need opinions</small> -- [[User:MerkaST|MerkaST]] ([[User talk:MerkaST|talk]]) 07:49, 5 September 2015 (UTC) | :::I get that (I can see the kit removal in the history), but like this it requires editing of all the team pages with kits (like the VGL change), and it's something one needs to know to activate (also there currently is only one person doing these). Header and font colors
It would be nice if we could alter header colors and font colors to give more flavor to the template, rather than having the same generic gray for every team. --Autocrat (talk) 22:46, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
/vg/ League links
Since a lot of teams on the wiki are /vg/ generals, it would be useful if it were possible to adjust the link under "Website" so it actually links the general (i.e. a search on /vg/ for the general) instead of providing a dead link. It seems that changing Line 72 to
| width="65%" | <span class="plainlinks">[http://boards.4chan.org/{{#if: {{{general|}}}|vg/|}}{{{team|a}}} /{{{team|a}}}/ - {{{name|N/A}}}]</span>
(which adds {{#if: {{{general|}}}|vg/|}}) would allow to do this by adding "vg/" in the URL if the "|general=" option is set with anything, thus preserving both possibilities. Can this be implemented? -- MerkaST (talk) 22:23, 26 August 2015 (UTC)

- Further suggestion here to help out teams from non-/vg/ generals: maybe change "vg/" to "{{{generalboard|vg/}}}", allowing a generalboard option to be set for non-/vg/ based teams, but again keeping the old behaviour intact. Archie.m.vist (talk) 17:24, 29 August 2016 (UTC)

|generalboard= Board of the general if different from /vg/, requires general to be set. Set as board/ (ie. for /m/, set m/).
To put directly below|general=

Kits
How about reuploading/making Kitfag reupload/moving the kits in a unified format (An_home_kit.png, An_away_kit.png, An_away_kit_2.png, An_gk_kit.png, etc., the first Cup occurrence can be added in the file details) and adding the kits in the same way as the logo, but under a collapsible like the statistics in Template:TournamentInfobox? That way, we'd get loads of red links, but kits only need to be uploaded and they'll be there, and can even be updated, all without needing to play around with additional options. -- MerkaST (talk) 02:20, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
- I tried to do something pretty similar the other night, if you specified a kithome as a filename then it added a new kits section at the end, and there were options for up to 5 kits (away, 3rd. 4th, GK sections wouldn't show unless you specified them) however it didn't quite work. I'll have another go or ask endoh. f4r !HanakoDlmg muh user paeg do you even custom sig? 02:26, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
