MARE GENETALIA
Hey, why did you revert my changes? All the times are off 1 hour. It says the /vg/ vs /g/ match started at 1 pm ET. By 1 pm ET the game had been over for an hour.
The UTC times are correct. I didn't realize that there were multiple times listed, my mistake sorry. Refer this: [[1]], the EST and PST times are wrong but UTC is correct.
No prob, just wondering, ty.
- Hover times should be fixed now. Thanks for making me aware of this. They'll have to be redone twice a year for DST though, unless someone finds a way to automate it (should be possible if the wiki supports date checking, but I have almost no experience with wikis, so I don't know their capabilities). Wiki breakage
I noticed a couple of things having changed in the last days to weeks (possibly related to the upgrades you made a while ago) and wanted to let you know in case nobody has done so yet as some are substantial:
- Collapsible things seem to have broken (like the kit previews or several navboxes). You seem to have done some experiments on your sandbox page for this, for me it's all non-functional on both Chrome and Firefox (I don't even see a "Collapse" button).
- The preview tab has disappeared from the editing area. It was slightly less powerful than the preview button, but in my opinion easier to use in all but those edge cases requiring the preview button due to it's placement and the fact that it was a tab, so you could hide the preview again and didn't need to scroll all the way down after every small change you previewed.
- I am unable to access any but the first tab of my user preferences on both Chrome and Firefox. Clicking on the other tabs will update the URL but change nothing on the page itself.
- Adding/removing pages from the watchlist now seems to require one additional confirmation, where before you could simply click on the star and it would be done. This is a minor thing but still bugs me. -- MerkaST (talk) 19:10, 3 September 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah someone pointed out the first one to me a few days ago, all the other stuff I was unaware of, but can replicate all of those issues. I'm guessing they're related, bu just how they are, I'm not sure. Investigations into the first issue verified that the js/css that controls collapsible content is on the server, and jquery is set up to load it, however it never gets served to the client (everything gets merged into a couple of files before getting sent). I'm at a loss as to why, so I think I'll try a fresh install of MediaWiki, that seems like it'll be the easiest and most effective route. Unfortunately I'm not sure when I'll be able to, I've got 5 minutes right now before I start a 50 hour pull so uh, it might be a few days before I can have a proper stab at it. f4r !HanakoDlmg muh user paeg do you even custom sig? 23:49, 3 September 2016 (UTC)
- OK it should all be working again now, preview tab is back, search dropdown works again, collapsibles are collapsing, preference pages are uh, preferring? Turns out the problem was the old "NoTitle" extension, it hasn't been updated since 2014 and I guess MW 1.27.1 changed something internally and it all broke. Let me know if you find anything else out of place, though. Thanks. f4r !HanakoDlmg muh user paeg do you even custom sig? 14:41, 9 September 2016 (UTC)
