The 2019 4chan Winter Cup will be the thirtieth official 4chan Cup tournament and the eighth iteration of the Winter Cup series. The tournament will be played on dates to be decided in the winter of 2019. Teams that advance to the knockout stage of the 2018 4chan Summer Cup and those which secure promotion from the 2018 4chan Autumn Babby Cup will compete at the event.

Competitors

Thirty-two teams are scheduled to compete at this tournament, sixteen of the teams will qualify by means of advancing to the knockout stage of the 2018 4chan Summer Cup, and sixteen will qualify by means of advancing from the 2018 4chan Autumn Babby Cup.

This cup will be the Winter Cup debut of /bant/.

Pots

Teams are placed in four different pots based on seeding. Seeding is determined by:

1. The finishing position of the top 16 teams from the 2018 4chan Summer Cup in that tournament.
2. The finishing position of the top 16 teams from the 2018 4chan Autumn Babby Cup in that tournament.

All of the highest-seeded competitors (the top eight finishers from Summer) are placed in Pot 1; the next-highest in Pot 2, and so on until all four pots contain eight teams.
