Welcome to /数字/ (/sɯɯdʑi/), JP Vtubers General, the thread that remembers everything that matters. Your go-to place to discuss the Japanese vtubing scene, especially if it's not HoloNiji and has no thread discussing it.
History
Originally created as a spinoff of /#/, the thread was quickly overtaken (rightfully so) by Japanese vtuber fans who felt they had no homes. The thread soon became a sanctuary for homeless Kizuners, /.LIVE/ thread experiment refugees, /vsinger/ refugees, Pmaru worshippers, and Aogiri Kouko folks who somehow conjured themselves out of nowhere in addition to the occasional Joshus, Soratomos, and Nijifans, even though the thread likes to pretend they ignore all HoloNiji. Despite being proud of clinging to the past of vtubing, they actually hated their own history. They quickly realized being a numbers thread wasn't a good look, and rebranded it to be more akin to the original /vy/ thread from /jp/, though they kept the name. Today, the thread comfortably exists as the fastest Japanese-focused thread on the board.
