2017 4chan Winter Cup

The cup moved to PES 2017, and this brought on a number of changes to the game. Among them was the lower amount of goals per match, and refs being less tolerant of murderball. These changes hurt /r9k/ greatly as the cup got started. >tfw no gf was sent off during the second half of the Robots' match against /w/, and immediately afterwards, the team conceded a goal. Luckily, Elliot Rodger scored earlier, but the big problem was that a key player of the team would be suspended for the next match against /m/. Alteisen Riese got a double against a weakened /r9k/, as /m/ won 2-1 over the Arcanines. With just one point out of two matches, /r9k/ had to win against /vg/ in order to have a chance to avoid being relegated, but sadly had to settle for a 0-0 draw. Despite >tfw no gf returning in time to face /vg/, the Robots were relegated.
