2016 Autumn Babby Cup

Now, it was up to indistrikable to at least get one win for /int/ in the calendar year, if nothing else. Luckily for /int/, the wait for that win was finally over. The mighty >/wg/ became the first team to lose to /int/ in 2016, with Putin's hat trick being vital in a 4-3 win for the /int/olerants. From here on, the team couldn't do much more. A 1-1 draw against /his/ put them in a delicate position in the group. /his/ could have taken second place from /int/ with the right combination of results, but lady luck was on /int/'s side for once. /wg/ stepped up their game and beat /his/ 3-0, which meant that /int/ was promoted to the 2017 4chan Winter Cup before even having to play against /p/.

Despite the 2-1 loss to /p/, /int/'s fans were pleased to be back in a major cup. At the draw for the Round of 16 matches, /int/ was placed against none other than /out/. The match went to extra time, and even though /int/ looked to be a much better side than in the last two seasons, /out/ got the 4-3 win in the end. With such a competitive display, the /int/olerants had some positives to take with them as they wait for whatever madness is in store for them in 2017.

2017 Winter Cup

The run-up to the Winter Cup was an exciting prospect for the /int/olerants, as they were back in the major cups, they got a new manager in admiralmeru !!On6QI38faPh, and the next tournament was to be played in a new edition of >PES. The draw for the Winter Cup had /int/ placed in a group with elite Titans /gd/, perpetually elite /f/, and surprise entrants /c/. Not many expected much from /int/ this cup, but it seems that fate had other plans.

After the first match, things were looking up for a team that hadn't won a game in an elite cup in years. Thanks to a brace from Putin (who was in purple condition that game, but >implying conditions matter), /int/ won their first match against /f/ 2-1. A draw between the other two teams in the group, /gd/ and /c/, meant that /int/ was on top of the group for the time being. To top it all off, /int/ was also the first team to win a match in the 2017 Winter Cup, as well as the first to win an official match in the PES 17 era, as all three of the matches before theirs had ended in 1-1 draws. Things seemed to be going great at first, until a stray header from Minase Iori of /c/ gave /int/ their first loss of the year. This put /int/ in dire straits for the third and final match of the group stage, as they would need either an outright win against the scary-looking /gd/, or a draw against /gd/ and some help from a winless /f/. Despite these long odds, the gods of fate smiled on the /int/olerants as /f/ decided to stop being such a pushover and beat /c/, and /int/ famously won 2-2 [1][2] against /gd/. This heart-stopping finish had put /int/ through to their first Elite Knockout match since Summer of 2013.

Unfortunately, /int/'s memorable finish to the Group Stage and promotion to the 2017 4chan Summer Cup would prove to be the high point of their Winter Cup run, as they faced off against /vp/ in the Round of 16. The enemy looked to be ferocious and overpowering, yet /int/ still stared them in the face and didn't back down. /int/ even scored the first goal in the match against /vp/, and looked like they could possibly pull off the upset. But in the end, /int/ couldn't hold up against the Pokemons' relentless offensive siege, and fell to the eventual THIRD PLACE TROPHY winners 1-2.

Despite the fact that the tournament ended in defeat for them, the /int/olerants had something to look forward to. They had crawled their way out of the Permababby hole that they had been in for the past couple of years, and they had gotten themselves in Pot 2 of the 2017 Summer Cup. Only time will tell if this new managing duo of theirs will be competent enough to keep themselves Elite, or if /int/ will go crashing back down to the babbies once again.

2017 Summer Cup

As it turned out, /int/ was more than content to stay in the Elites. Now with a new co-manager, FELOOx !!itrZLMPlc+O, the team rolled through Group H with relative ease. The defensive style of /int/'s play prevented /co/ and /gd/ from getting scoring on the team at all, while Polandball and Putin both did their jobs precisely as required, scoring one goal each, Polandball in /co/ and Putin on /gd/. After a memey and exciting 4-4 game against /g/, /int/ ended up placing second in the group. Though /int/'s survival in the Elites was secured, their failure to top the group would in part lead to their downfall in the Round of 16.

The day of the draw, things looked grim for /int/. The strength of diversity was to be put to the test against the nigh-on invincible /lgbt/ team, which really only showed weakness in a game against /toy/ where they didn't even play their real tactics. Still, /int/ was not going to go down without a fight, and the game proved be a nail biter for both teams as /int/ would grind /lgbt/'s lightning offense to a near halt with their own stubborn defense, it was unstoppable force meeting immovable object, but cracks started to show in /int/'s defense as their players faltered under the effects of fatigue, and Autogynephilia scored at the 65th minute. Putin was not going to just let the gays run over Russia, though, and four minutes later he answered, bringing the game back to a stalemate. Full time and extra time both passed without goals and the games were to be decided down at benuldies. Long story short, spurdo fugged up in his usual fashion, and /int/ missed the opportunity to go to Quarter Finals. Still, it was a close thing, and would end up being the toughest game for /lgbt/ on the road to their star.

/int/ was now in a pretty good spot having stayed elite for two elite cups now, only time would tell how long they would stay there.

2018 Winter Cup

With Amerimutt now on the team /int/ had the advantage of having a huge demoralizing affect their opponents, how could such an abomination be allowed to play? The team was once more placed in Group H and against an autopilot, /cm/, and two teams generally regarded as shaky, /a/ and /an/. Surely this group stage run was going to be easy, right? Not quite. A decisive and quick victory against /cm/ made fans confident in /int/'s ability to progress, but the following weekend /int/ was only able to secure a draw against /an/, a draw is better than nothing, but it's not great. What's worse than a draw is a loss, which is precisely what they got against /a/. A single score in the very opening of the game was all /a/ needed to put away the game, as /int/'s anemic offense proved incapable of doing its job. Still, it wasn't all bad, /int/ squeaked by into the Round of 16 based on goal difference, having 1 goal to their favor as opposed to /a/'s 0. It was a messy but legitimate advancement.

/int/'s Round of 16 game would prove almost completely identical to Summer 17's, except instead of facing off against gays the international league of shitposters would instead be taking on a different brand of faggots: horsefuckers. Once more /int/ would be facing off a very strong opponent, and once again it would grind down to a 1-1, with Gondola making the first strike at the 26th minute, while /mlp/'s Twilight would score off a defensive blunder by everyone's favorite Finnish bear, Spurdo. Spurdo again would prove how utterly terrible he is at divegrass by fugging up in benuldies once more, allowing /mlp/ to continue on their rampage to the finals only to be themselves shut down in benuldies by /u/.

Once more /int/ was out in the Round of 16, and this time Spurdo was under investigation under suspicion of being a closeted horsefucker. A third Round of 16 exit made fans start to think that /int/ was suffering from the same curse as /vr/ and /d/, even the managers started to suspect as much. Will /int/ fall out of the Elites next year cup?
no
Will /int/ finally break through the Round of 16?
yes
Tune in next cup to find out!

Rivalries

Pol logo.png
Der Übermensch Derby

Origins of this rivalry date back to the time before the creation of /pol/. After moot - bribed by happy merchants - deleted the /new/, /int/olerants have had to suffer through many arduous battles against /new/smen seeking for the safe refuge. This, however, has been reversed, as moot assigned a mod who decided to fight the evil powers of Zionism and systematically banned every Israeli poster on /int/. In the end, status quo was preserved, mod dismissed and /new/smen emmigrated to the newly created /pol/.

The tensions raised even more after flags have been added to /pol/, resulting in international bantz and culture leaking into the board of self-proclaimed master race, to the point where it started being known as /int/'s colony, or /int/ 2.0.

Whilst success in the cup and the extermination of the Marxism are shared ambitions of both /int/ and /pol/, there are major differences between these two. While /pol/ is entangled into the whirl of twisted political ideologies, /int/ knows full well that pure nationalism and ethnical cleansing are the only effective way of preserving the white race.
