2012 Summer Cup All-Stars
The 2012 4chan Summer Cup All-Stars are a 23-player collection of the best-performing players of the 2012 4chan Summer Cup.
History
The team was created with the purpose of taking on an all-star team consisting of the best players from a collection of Ukrainian and Russian chans, known as B League United. This created a tradition for all-star teams to be created, using the best players from each 4chan Cup to form the teams.
B League match series
Match 1
The /b/ League United (BLU) hosted the Summer Cup All-stars of 4chan (SCA) at their home stadium (and stream). There were a couple of differences were from normal 4chan Cup play: Each half was 10 minutes longer in real time, and each team had a different customized kit for the game. Due to a translation error and a bunch of lazy sweatshop workers, the letters and numbers on all SCA jerseys were replaced by white bars of varying width. It was too late to get replacements, so the SCA decided to play on.
SCA dominated for most of the match, with /tv/'s High Ground using his natural advantage to save several incoming BLU shots. Putin managed to get a hat trick against BLU's keeper EFG, and even Slenderman mysteriously teleported to the offensive side of the field to put one of his own balls in the net. SCA spread the wealth around its team, as its goals were scored by five different representatives. BLU's Cirno tried to lead a counterattack near the middle of the game to raise her comrades' spirits, but it was simply not enough. Between the onslaught of the Putin-led attack and the amazing saves of High Ground, SCA won 8-4.
Match 2
The two all-star teams met again on SCA's home turf of Yurop, as flights to America for both teams were considered too expensive now that a good portion of the 4CCC budget had been used to buy propaganda posters and buy a new backup limousine for GermanBro. Both teams acquired new uniforms, though the SCA kit still had an error with the letters and numbers showing up as blank bars. The 4CCC released a statement saying that they would be "investigating the sweatshop contracted to make our team uniforms" to "make sure those slave children aren't slacking off again."
The match seemed to be almost an inverse replay of the first game. Cirno took revenge in the name of her comrades on the BLU team by rocketing goal after goal past High Ground, scoring 5 goals in the whole match and even knocking down SCA's Putin on one defensive play. Meanwhile, EFG responded to his earlier embarrassment by saving several shots that were kicked in his direction, even though he made some questionable passing decisions that led to a couple of easy SCA goals. The stats showed that the possession and shot count was more even, but the middle of the SCA defense simply had no answer for Cirno. BLU won the second match 8-5, setting up a game 3 to decide everything.
After the game, SCA managers and players made allegations of Ukranian doping on BLU's side, and SCA manager Torres McIlroy claimed to have been locked out of the coaching booth by some Russian-made superglue just before gametime. The truth of these allegations is still under investigation.
Match 3
The third match of the series was held by the Russian/Ukrainian hosts despite a lack of cooperation from 4chan Cup organisers due to disagreements over the rules of the series. B League won the match convincingly 7-1.
