The Autumn 2021 /gd/ Roster Poll++ got 6 votes, all valid. The thread ran for a little over two weeks (Sept 4th to the 21st) without incident.

Either rename logo redesign to "Redesign it" or make it a separate player entirely, seriously there's like 8 OPs with those two exact words and nothing else

Bring back the Affinity shill player, maybe with a better name and model

Logo Redesign should be one that shows different eras of a design through the years, e.g. 1980s > 1990 > 2008 > 2019 etc

Kerning Suggestions [3 respondents abstained]

Demon form Kerning that's mirrored and upside down under the pitch for halloween

Dressing in other team clothing sounds like a betrayal but maybe:
If Vaporwave is demoted turn it a costume for when we're against /a/
Generic hats for /pol/, /vp/, /ck/
Kerning given a Ronaldo statue face treatment for /sp/

Takeaways

• Six votes is low but not historically low. I'm not too surprised about this outcome, since the world cup interrupted the normal flow of when to expect roster polls on /gd/. /gd/'s also been having the good problem of having more active threads at the same time, so letting the poll thread chill on page 1 was less effective than usual.
• In general this poll featured people who didn't want much change in the roster, so player swaps will be low and I'll try to focus more aesthetic effort towards improving existing players.
  • Cracked is once again sacked. We do this every so often and he always ends up creeping back anyway. There's another team he should be playing on anyway.
  • Someone else might also be sacked(?) This poll also featured very weak consensus on who to sack so if there is a second swap the pick might surprise someone. This is a reminder that even if you think the team doesn't need new players you should still throw out some suggestions on who to sack just to be sure your personal favs are out of the crosshairs.
  • The Affinity Shill player returns again, though he probably won't be called Affinity Shill anymore. Maybe we can do something a bit more creative here.
  • A Corporate Art Style might show up. Looking for a better name. Even if the one offered rolls off the tongue I try to keep /pol/ from leaking in.
• Minimalism reclaims the second silver from Fuck You Pay Me. Not a shocking development as FYPM was a rogue pick in the last poll but he's definitely still in the running moving forward.
• Logo Redesign will be renamed Redesign It, as that dude had a point. It's basically been the guaranteed_replies.txt of /gd/ lately.
  • As they're kind of a package deal this might mean something for Rate My Logo too.
• Plenty of suggestions this time around. Always appreciated, I try to incorporate at least one from every person's response but depending on how workable they are and how much time I have for aesthetics they don't all get acted on. Please understand and don't be discouraged from suggesting the same ideas in the future.
