2017 4chan Autumn Babby Cup

2018 4chan Winter Cup

The 2017 4chan Autumn Babby Cup will be the twenty-fifth official 4chan Cup tournament and the sixth iteration of the Autumn Babby Cup series. The Group Stage will begin October 27, 2017 and conclude November 5, 2017, with the Knockout Stage streaming the following weekend, November 11 and 12, 2017. The tournament will feature a mixture of teams that were relegated from the 2017 4chan Summer Cup, teams that failed to promote from the 2017 4chan Spring Babby Cup, and teams who promoted from the 2017 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers. Due to winning the previous Babby Cup, /lgbt/ will host this tournament.

Thirty-two teams will compete at this tournament; sixteen of the teams will qualify by means of relegation from the 2017 4chan Summer Cup, and the rest will qualify either by failing to advance from the 2017 4chan Spring Babby Cup, returning on autopilot from The Cull, or promoting from the 2017 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers.

Finishing position of the 16 relegated teams from the 2017 4chan Summer Cup in that tournament.
Finishing position of the teams who finished third in their group stages from the 2017 4chan Spring Babby Cup in that tournament.
Finishing position of the teams who qualified by advancing from the 2017 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers.

All of the highest-seeded competitors (the top eight relegated from Summer) are placed in Pot 1, the next-highest in Pot 2, and so on until all four pots contain eight teams.
