One of the oldest boards on 4chan, /w/ is a place to post anime related wallpapers, find anime related wallpapers, and edit anime related images for use in wallpapers. /w/ was first created in 2003 predating sister board /wg/ by over a year. Despite being one of the smaller boards /w/ has become a great community built around creating and sharing wallpapers.
The /w/ team hopes to see you on the board, because the thing an anon on /w/ loves most is something he hasn't seen before.

These are the kits and export that /w/ used in the 2014 4chan Autumn Babby Cup.
About
/w/ was founded on the thirteenth of July, 2014 and were inducted as part of the Sixth Founding.
/w/ entered the 4chan Cup first in the 2014 4chan Autumn Babby Cup. the team was at first not slated to compete in the cup until then commissioner tottori !!sRN5AxsnGLL was forced to step down due to personal reasons. This left the returning commissioner DrBorisG !!uWmnP2zIyZF to opt for a "Mega Babby" cup format, meaning that forty teams would be allowed to compete. Even then /w/ was still the third team in the waiting room behind /biz/ and /i/ in that order. They were moved to second in line after /fa/ were disqualified for managerial reasons. After /cm/'s manager failed to appear in order to sign them up and /gif/ failed to even have a manager /w/ was granted entry to the cup tied for the lowest seed. With nowhere to go but up /w/ looked at their first group stage with great optimism.
That optimism was quickly erased after an embarrassing 3-1 loss to /int/ that included an own goal by the /w/ keeper with the team's only goal being a 90+ minute goal from Powerlevel. Things kept looking grim for /w/ after they only managed a 1-1 draw against a /co/ team that had lost both of their previous matches 2-0. This left /w/ at 1 point on two games needing a miracle to avoid humiliation with the two toughest members of their group still ahead of them.
Things got off to a good start against rival /wg/ in the team's much anticipated Wallpaper Derby with an early goal from former /vg/ striker New Thread but FC Cunt Destroyer managed to get two goals back in the second half to force /w/ onto panic sliders with only ten minutes left in the match leaving /w/ to pray for a miracle. A miracle happened. In the 86th minute Powerlevel managed to get a ball from a corner kick into the back of the net, putting the teams even at two goals apiece. In stoppage time it was the substitute right back Yotsuba Sticky who got a cross into the middle to silver CMF IMT who kicked the ball into the keeper for it to deflect up, bounce back behind the keeper, and go into the net giving /w/ its first win, a win against their rival, and keeping them alive going into the final weekend.
In a bittersweet match against their last opponent /e/, /w/ was denied promotion to the winter cup as the team's 1-0 victory left them below the other seven point teams in the group on goal differential. Despite not advancing the /w/ team held their heads high after a very shaky start they proved that /w/ would be a force to be reckoned with in spring and they will never give up, even when faced with the impossible they will still stand strong.

The Wallpaper Derby
Though the boards tend to coexist well and get along out on the site this is divegrass, and you don't get to bring friends. This rivalry began when /w/ was drawn against /wg/ in the team's first ever tournament and the derby kicked off with a thrilling 3-2 comeback victory for /w/ to prove that neither of them were taking this derby lightly.
