It is a fitting name for a team that is made up of members who are interested in AI and virtual technology. Although the threads that make up the team may seem niche, they have a strong following on 4chan's /vt/ board, and the team has attracted fans who appreciate the intersection of AI and Virtual YouTubers. /skynetFC/ may be a virtual team, but their passion for the game and their dedication to their threads make them a formidable competitor in the /vt/ League.

On the second iteration of training, /skynetFC/ performed better and advanced out of groups in /vt/ League 5, but the team was defeated by fleshbags when /HiRyS/ beat them in the RO16
On the third iteration of training, the AI was trained poorly and thus did poorly, failing to escape group stages in /vt/ league 6.
On the fourth iteration of training, AI-generated results were fed into the training data. Thus again remaining stuck in group stages....
