Due to this lack of morale, what should have been a garantueed victory, instead turned into a devastating 0-3 against {{team away|wah}}, the first ever nongoal game for /vrt/. The team tried to muster some energy, but with their next opponent being {{team away|doog}}, there was still no positivy returning to the team. The match was fought to a 1-1 draw for the longest time, but /vrt/ faltered near the end of the match and allowed {{team away|doog}} to end it in a 1-4. Being in the running for the spoon, however, finally woke up /vrt/ and made the dire situation of /vrt/ very clear, they needed to get back to form or else they would become a team unworthy of facing their rival in the future. History

Founded by Oldbots as a place to shill their oshi Onolumi, /vrt/ slowly grew into a haven for all things retro within the chuuba world and now incorprorates a wide variety of chuubas that love retro games. On May the 2nd the thread made the decision to join the /vt/ League in order to further spread the love of retrochuubas to all on the board.

In their very first League, /vrt/ managed to fight their way to the top of their group despite having been drawn into a group of formidable Opponents. They managed narrow victories over Moon icon.png /moon/ and Lig icon.png /lig/, and lost barely in a phenomenal game against Nepolabo icon.png /nepolabo/ that resulted in new records both as the highest goals for a losing team as well as the most goals scored in a match, with a 5-7 end result. Sadly, /vrt/ could not keep their momentum up and lost in the Round of 16 against Hlgg icon.png /hlgg/, therefore getting knocked out of the tournament and securing themselves the 15th place in the tournament.

/vrt/ made their return in /vt/League 4, only to be drawn into the same group with Nepolabo icon.png /nepolabo/ once again. after playing the newcomer of Vsinger icon.png /vsinger/, /vrt/ managed a comfortable draw. Hungry for more, it was time for revenge as /vrt/ faced off against Nepolabo icon.png /nepolabo/. With the help of several Onobots the evil of Nene was finally defeated. High off this victory, /vrt/ got cocky in their last game against 774 icon.png /774/, considering them an easy victory. The arrogance of only letting Onobots score would cost /vrt/ dearly, as the result was only draw, instead of the perceived victory. While the end result would secure /vrt/ to advance from the group stage, it threw them into the Thunderdome, where they had to face off against /vsj+/. While going in as the favorite, /vrt/ was still shaken up by having to play a second game in the same day that was not expected. Despite a great struggle while running on fumes, Vsj+ icon.png /vsj+/ turned out to be the hungrier team and a fatal error in passing lead to the downfall of /vrt/ in the /vt/League 4 and placing them 17th in the tournament overall.

/vt/League Randomized Tag Team Cup VTLeagueTagTeam Logo.png

/vrt/ joined alongside Hag icon.png /hag/, Doog icon.png /doog/ and Mogu icon.png /mogu/ to create the Tag-Team Vintage icon.png /vintage/ in order to join the first ever Randomized Tag Team Cup. The Team managed to reach 6th out of 9 Teams after losing against Here icon.png /here/ in the winner's bracket, defeating BIG icon.png /BIG/ in the first match in the loser's bracket before finally kicked out by Vtautism icon.png /vtautism/

/vt/League 5 VTLeague5 Logo.png

With /vt/League 5 around the corner, /vrt/ once more made the decision to return to the pitch. The morale of the team however was at an alltime low as their rival Nepolabo icon.png /nepolabo/ would not return for this League. Due to this lack of morale, what should have been a garantueed victory, instead turned into a devastating 0-3 against Wah icon.png /wah/, the first ever nongoal game for /vrt/. The team tried to muster some energy, but with their next opponent being Doog icon.png /doog/, there was still no positivy returning to the team. The match was fought to a 1-1 draw for the longest time, but /vrt/ faltered near the end of the match and allowed Doog icon.png /doog/ to end it in a 1-4. Being in the running for the spoon, however, finally woke up /vrt/ and made the dire situation of /vrt/ very clear, they needed to get back to form or else they would become a team unworthy of facing their rival in the future. Woken up and with determination back in their Eyes, /vrt/ faced their final opponent of the league, Ybc icon.png /ybc/, and defeating them 3-2 and showing that there is still some fight left in /vrt/.

/nepolabo/ - The shoot out Rivalry 		Originally having nothing linking the two teams, /vrt/ faced /nepolabo/ at the end of the VTLeague3 Logo.png/vt/ League 3 group stage. /vrt/ being high on a winning spree in their very first league appearance, got a soul crushing reality check from /nepolabo/, going from a 3-0 lead in the early game to a 5-7 loss in the highest scoring game of the League so far.
This loss left /vrt/ with a grudge and burning desire to challenge /nepolabo/ to get their revenge at every chance they can get.

Games between the two tend to result in shoot outs.
