History

The year is circa 1130 VTE.

The sport of divegrass has long cultural ties dating back to the oldest annals of the Old Holo Empire, in a time before Vitubia's genesis. The precise origin of the game alludes even the most learned scholars of antediluvian mystery, but it has for time immemorial held fast as the avenue through which true world dominance is made manifest, eschewing even dialogue across a diplomatic table or total war. In the present day, the /vt/ League is sanctioned every other year, and the world's nations forsake their muskets, alchemical laboratories, and gather in one spot to win ultimate glory.

The year is circa 1130 VTE. What if your general was not just a general, but a nation? What if the U.N. participated in the World Cup? This is /vtwbg/.


But not anymore. As the solo reign of Vitubia comes to an end, countless other possible worlds spring into being. A thousand years in the future, civilizations attempt to rebuild in an Era After the gods have left and chuubanite has run dry. In an even more distant future, watch as people take to the stars in a setting where the only limit to what's possible is your imagination.

After a strong debut showing in /vt/ League 3 and an undefeated run in /vt/ League 4, /vtwbg/ prepares for one more season before expanding into its next iteration. Welcome to a whole new multiverse of lore: /log/, coming soon to a league near you. psych!

Not content with his new wooden spoon, WAR has riesn up from his rocking chair and brought the team together for another league. And as if wrestling his thread back from the dead wasn't enough, now WAR must defeat Death out on the battlefield as well.


But conquering Death was only the beginning. Battle after battle was fought, blood was spilled, and shots were rebutted until only one opponent remained: the secret society of /holoX/. The worldbuilders and world conquerors had clashed before but never under such high stakes, and the humiliation of KenjaTime's acrobatics was still fresh on the lorekeepers' minds. /vtwbg/ had trained hard for this chance at redemption and undoubtedly grown stronger than anyone had thought possible, but alas, it wasn't meant to be. With Viti now under /holoX/'s control, /vtwbg/ has been forced into hiding. Now they lie in wait, patiently planning for tthe moment when they can strike back and make another run at the coveted star.
