The 2016 4chan Spring Babby Cup will be the nineteenth official 4chan Cup tournament and the fifth iteration of the Spring Babby Cup series. It will be played on dates yet to be confirmed in Spring 2016. The tournament will feature a mixture of teams that will have been relegated from the 2016 4chan Winter Cup, as well as the teams that failed to qualify from the 2015 4chan Autumn Babby Cup.
After winning the previous Babby Cup, the board of /out/ will be the host of this tournament.
Competitors
Forty teams will compete in this tournament, sixteen of which will qualify by means of relegation from the 2016 4chan Winter Cup, and another twenty-four by failing to advance from the 2015 4chan Autumn Babby Cup.

Pots
Teams will be placed in five different pots based on seeding. Seeding is determined by:
- Finishing position of teams relegated from the 2016 4chan Winter Cup in that tournament
- Finishing position of teams failing to advance from the 2015 4chan Autumn Babby Cup in that tournament
- Finishing position of the team who failed to advance from the 2015 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers in that tournament
- Previously managerless teams that were absent from the previous Babby Cup but returned under new management
All of the highest-seeded competitors (the top eight relegated from Winter) will be placed in Pot 1, the next-highest in Pot 2, and so on until all five pots contain eight teams.
