Praise Kiyohiko Azuma, patron saint of the comfy slice of life manga.
History
/azu/ took part to the Moeshit Cup, where it opened the group B matches with a completely anticlimactic 0-0 thriller against /sora/. The team switched from one extreme to another against /nnb/, in the cup's highest scoring match that ended on an another draw, 4-4 this time. The third match against /yys/ would see /azu/'s first defeat, and put the team in a dangerous position, with very slim chances of advancing and sitting at the bottom of the cup. Sadly group results meant that /azu/ was barred from advancing before their last match against /lucky/, but the team was still in danger of being the wooden spoon if they loose again. Fortunately, /azu/ got a clear 4-1 win, and catapulted to 5th place overall being one of the two highest scoring teams of the cup and holding the record for fastest goal and fastest succession of goals.
Murderer Osaka (for her amazing performance against /lucky/) and Penguin Chiyo (for her blender) will represent /azu/ in /moeshit/.
/azu/ also won the only match that really mattered against big name SoL anime rival /keion/; a 3-2 win despite being rigged against, cementing Azumanga's undisputed superiority over K-On.

Rivalries
/keion/ - The Most influencial SoL Anime derby Azumanga Daioh is the most influential SoL anime in history, and only the K-On newcomers would dispute this eternal fact. Fortunately the dispute got settled once and for all and Azumanga came on top of both /keion/ and its rigging with a 3-2 victory. |
