The 2023 4chan Autumn Babby Cup will be the forty-eighth official 4chan Cup tournament and the twelfth iteration of the Autumn Cup series. Teams that were relegated from the 2023 4chan Summer Cup, those which failed to advance from the 2023 4chan Spring Babby Cup, and those which failed to qualify from the 2023 4chan Spring Babby Cup Qualifiers, will compete at the event.

/co/ will be the hosts for this tournament, as the reigning Babby champions.

Competitors

Thirty-two teams will compete at this tournament; sixteen of the teams will qualify by means of relegation from the 2023 4chan Summer Cup. The remaining spots are to be determined by means of placement while failing to qualify in the 2023 4chan Spring Babby Cup, the 2023 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers, and from the 2023 4chan Spring Babby Cup Qualifiers.

The group stage draw will be held on October 22nd 2023.

Teams are placed in four different pots based on seeding. Seeding is determined by:

1. The finishing position of the 16 teams relegated from the 2023 4chan Summer Cup in that tournament.
2. The finishing position of the teams who failed to qualify from the 2023 4chan Spring Babby Cup group stage.
3. The finishing position of the teams who advance from the 2023 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers.
4. The finishing position of the teams who failed to qualify from the 2023 4chan Spring Babby Cup Qualifiers.

All of the highest-seeded competitors (the top eight relegated from Summer) are placed in Pot 1; the next-highest in Pot 2, and so on until all pots contain eight teams each.
