Welcome to the /vg/ League! The /vg/ League is the series of simulated soccer tournaments played on games from the Pro Evolution Soccer series, which determines the roster of 4chan Cup team /vg/. Since 2013, /vg/'s general threads have competed on the field for the dubious honor of representing /vg/'s main team. Iterations of the /vg/ League typically run in June and December, between the 4chan Cup's Babby and Elite Cup cycles.

Player of the Week The Doro  /nikg/   CMF Once a Member of the legendary Goddess Squad, now the unofficial mascot for NIKKE in her little gremlin form. Doro has been a longstanding team member of /nikg/ since its inception, starting out as a medal in her chibi form for VGL X-2 and VGL21, being demoted in VGL22 and surging back to popularity in her iconic form in VGL23. She has seen countless Nikke come and go, forever lost to the surface of the grass pitch. Her most remarkable achievement for the team was her one and only goal in her carreer against /vgt/ in VGL21, allowing /nikg/ to advance over /egg/ and /gbpen/ in a 9-2-2-2 group. Her offensive achievements are otherwise unremarkable but her age and experience as a venerable Goddess member has endowed her with a consistent, patient playstyle, striking and assisting when needed most. As her commanders have nominated her for the /vg/ team, the central government hopes that she will truly shine on a brighter stage for all to witness her gremlin-like beauty Archive
Featured Team /vgt/ - Gran Turismo General Ranking: 22nd Key Players: Quail Farmer Kaz, Daihatsu Midget, >sport mode , Tom's Supra, Watch the Demonstration Recent Form: L L W W W Dedicated to the only flagship Sony property left that isn't a cinematic third-person action-adventure game, /vgt/ would, on the surface, be an unlikely candidate for a VGL team, but it wouldn't be long after the release of GT7 and creation of the general for the team to see the pitch. Before they had even made their debut in VGL 19, /vgt/ already found glory on September 11th when they beat /gfg/ in the finals of New Thread Cup, their very first outing as a team. The racists would go on to have further iconic performances, such as in VGL 19 where star player Tom's Supra scored 5 goals by the 58th minute against /きらら/, tying the VGL record for most goals scored by a single player in one match, and in VGL X-2 where the team made a 3 goal comeback against /fgog/ to tie the game and escape the group stage by a whisker. Despite the franchise's seemingly dull denomination as The Real Driving Simulator™, /vgt/'s cast of misfits quickly endeared themselves to VGL, from supercars to shitboxes, Brazilians to Australians, kei cars to movie stars, and composers to quail farmers. While they reached off-the-record highs in New Thread Cup and even Randomized Tag Team Cup 2 with old rivals /forza/, the team would never quite make it to the final stage in VGL proper. Forever one turn short of making it to the podium, and in the case of VGL 22, one mere goal away from their streak of knockout appearances. In spite of this, and the general's status as one of the slowest on the board, the team had dedicated fans with them from day one, cheering and jumping from the grandstands of the Nordschleife. After a VGL 23 campaign which began with shocking wins and ended with crushing defeat to the eventual finalists, /vgt/ would hang up their racing suits and drive off into the sunset.
