Revue Starlight is a multimedia franchise consisting of stage plays, anime, manga, mobage, and more.
The franchise focuses on aspiring theater actresses who take up arms and participate in duels to climb the ranks in order to become the #1 stage girl, while being granted a wish of their choosing. Although if there's anything the residents of /revue/ are wishing for, it's better gacha rates and gem income. The Revue Starlight Re:LIVE mobage might not be the strongest aspect of the franchise but it sure does provide fans with something to talk about in between the anime installments and stage plays. It's not a /revue/ thread if we haven't met the daily quota of PvP misery, whale bashing, crack shipping (I CAN SEE IT), and crippling depression from not rolling a particular girl.

A friendly rivalry born from some fanbase overlap, /revue/ and /tnm/ spend more time arguing about which of them "tops" and "bottoms" than which of their mobage is superior. Will the musical prowess of the stage girls lift them to stardom, or will the sword autism of the tojis prove too much to handle? |

Alpacas and giraffes. Kazuchika Okada vs Tanahashi Hiroshi. Idols vs stage girls. Despite both series revolving around music, they couldn't be more different. To the point where the staff behind Revue Starlight had to reiterate that stage girls are in fact not idols, despite doing idol-like things. Regardless of what they are, the battle between Bushiroad franchises will be settled on the pitch. |

Bandori is yet another music-oriented franchise owned by Bushiroad and thus rival material for the stage girls. While there aren't as many similarities between theater actresses and bands, the fact that certain voice actors play roles in both series gives basis for crossovers. Whether you're fully devoted to Yukina or are feeling Bananice, watching a clash between these two series is sure to bring enjoyment. |
