/vg/ League 5 is the fifth iteration of the /vg/ general themed PES competition. Similar to the previous Leagues, signups will be open and any team verified for participation is able to compete. The purpose of the League is to decide the roster of the actual /vg/ team for the 4chan Cup. /vg/ League 5 will be joint effort between the head organizer, the streamers, the aesthetics team, the /vg/ management team, and the VGL Council.
The League will be streamed on the official cup twitch through host-mode most likely.

Important Dates

  • November 1st - November 14th, VGL5 sign ups open.
  • November 25th, Export and aesthetics deadline the second it becomes the 25th at midnight UTC (aka November 24th, 23:59:59 UTC.) No exceptions.
  • November 27th, Any and all export save fixes are due. Similar to the original deadline. Friendlies aesthetics save fixes are due.
  • November 28th, VGL5 friendlies at standard cup starting time, followed by the draw.
  • December 1st, Any and all aesthetic save fixes are due. Similar to the original deadline.

It's necessary to submit a logo and an anthem at the very least. Although not necessary, it's encouraged to submit at least a kit and a goal horn.

Pre-game tactics (that is, sliders, formation changes) and special aesthetics (including opponent specific music) must be submitted to Nepgear/Tenko/OMP the day before the match before 12 AM UTC. If you are unsure who will be hosting what day, please find out by asking in the thread in advanced

Draw

The draw for the VGL5 will take place after friendlies on November 28, on the official cup channel.

The 32 teams are divided into 4 seeding pots, using past performance to split the first three groups, with the new teams in Pot 4.

If any VGL4 Aesthetics are required, you can find them here, but please update the filenames to match the new Team/Player IDs otherwise your aesthetics will be rejected.

Use this second deadline to upload any save fixes noted in the pastebin above, and any late aesthetics.
If your team doesn't have any fixed or late aesthetics to upload, ignore this deadline.
If your team only has half of their aesthetics to be fixed, only upload the files that have been fixed. (ie, the kits work but faces don't, don't re-upload the kits, just the faces that needed fixed).

Please label your aesthetics between either late or fixed aesthetics (or both), like the /4ccg/ examples below.
