Background: K icon.png /k/ were the first ever team to relegate Wg icon.png /wg/, back in the dark days of 1.12. They came away with a 2–0 victory to do so, and despite missing the knockouts that cup (thanks to a playoff loss to now-most dead team in the cup /ic/), earned themselves a soft spot in shitposter hearts. A year later, /wg/ got revenge after easily promoting from the 2015 4chan Autumn Babby Cup, ending /k/'s cinderella run with a 3–2 knockout victory.

Background: Back when nobody knew Wg icon.png /wg/ as height abusing fucks with a legendary corgi striker (but rather as the most recent Babby champions), they were in the process of stomping fellow Babby teams in the 2013 4chan Winter Cup group stage. One of these teams was Tv icon.png /tv/, whom they defeated 2–1 on the way to 9 point master race.

Nearly two years later, both met again, in the 2017 4chan Spring Babby Cup and looking for a semifinal spot. Despite /tg/ taking an early lead, /wg/ took the win, 2–1.
