Known for being the biggest and most reliable index for drawings of all sorts, the platform was loved among [[:/h/]] for hosting all their favorite fetishes and art with decades worth of material. Then, one dreadful moment occurred; there was a new sticky on /h/ telling users to back up material on Sad Panda immediately due to new Dutch laws, the country the site was hosted. Users rapidly scrambled to backup everything they could, but of course with only 12 hours not everything could be saved. While a backup was eventually made, the panic and dread of losing the original and having to scramble to save content from being lost forever was still present.<br />
This is the phrase that was hastily added onto SANIC in 2010 when he was nothing more than an MS Paint Abomination. The /v/irgins of /v/ became quite fond of this strangely-illustrated hegehog despite the source material he is based off of. With his newfound popularity, SANIC raced his way onto the /v/ roster in 2012. The speedy, nonmedal midfielder was not used to the limitations of the pitch as he struggled to participate on offense, but he finally found his footing and scored his first goal in the 2013 Winter Cup off a Reggie assist. From there, he was able to outpace some of his teammates to become a silver player in the 2013 Summer Cup, a gold player in the 2015 Spring Babby Cup, and eventually captain of the club.


So how did this carry over to the pitch? Sad Panda would be moved to the AMF position and a gold medal in honor of his many years of service, and just like that PES found a way to reward him. Free kick opportunity just outside of the box, and the panda put it right into the back of the net. /h/ fans went wild as their lament had been wiped away just for a moment, and the joy of a top divegrass moment filled their hearts. You just couldn’t write a better doujin than this.
Now as captain, SANIC uses that phrase to rally /v/ to new heights that they have never achieved before. Under his leadership, /v/ became champions for the first time ever in the 2022 Summer Cup and almost won a second star in the 2025 Winter Cup. In terms of personal accolades, SANIC holds the title of Quickest Double Brace (20'), Highest Match Rating* (9.0) and is the recipient of the Lionel Messie Memoriam Award in the 2022 Winter Cup. SANIC has proven himself to be one of the deadliest strikers in 4chan cup history as he is in 7th place for All Time Goalscorers (121), 2nd place* for Most Hat Tricks (10), and 8th place for Most Man of the Match Awards.
While /h/ fans blew their collective load for the Panda goal, it appeared that /h/ did as well when the Panda let a heart-breaking  goal past him in the last minute of eggsdra diem, sealing /h/’s loss in the [[2019 4chan Summer Cup knockout stage|Round of 16]], and capping off /h/’s emotional cup run. No matter how sad this made the panda, /h/ fans surely will still love him all the same.<br />
