Background: /k/ were the first ever team to relegate /wg/, back in the dark days of 1.12. They came away with a 2–0 victory to do so, and despite missing the knockouts that cup (thanks to a playoff loss to now-most dead team in the cup /ic/), earned themselves a soft spot in shitposter hearts. A year later, /wg/ got revenge after easily promoting from the 2015 4chan Autumn Babby Cup, ending /k/'s cinderella run with a 3–2 knockout victory.
