Similar to the 4chan Cup's Lionel Messi Memoriam Award, the /vg/ League has celebrated the top players of its tournaments with the FIFA Box Art Award (commonly referred to as the "Best Player" Award).
Kicking off in the /vg/ League 4, the first receiver was

The lord of Naxxramas descended upon the /vg/ League in a flurry of surprising wins against some of the most iconic teams in the competition, including  /civ4xg/ and  /rsg/. Despite being Kel'Thu-freaking-zad, the Lich King's servant was unable to come up with an Aggro deck strong enough to beat  /dng/ in the final Card Games Bowl.

HOPE was a one man wrecking crew for  /drg/, scoring nearly 3/4ths of his teams goals for the entire tournament. Despite having his most clutch game in the overtime thriller vs /dng/, where he scored the game clinching hat trick at the 115th minute, it was not enough as his team eventually fell to the eventual champions  /lzg/ in the Finals.
