Since I'm a historyfag for the cup, I have several cup-related projects that I spontaneously wanted to make and actually started doing it. Hell, I woke up this morning and decided "yes, let's make a user page".

The Redux Series

The Redux Series is a series that focuses on the rerunning of former 4chan Cup tournaments before Dragongate by using the same PES versions, same formats, same everything... Until the cup grows lore of itself, the Redux Series tournaments evolve around the happenings in the tournaments in a butterfly effect. This was cut short as a result of me losing my Hard Drive and back-ups, ending with the Winter Solstice.

Summer 11 remake patch

Very little is known about the first ever 4chan Cup, but I decided to make a patch to replicate the original cup and learn about its creation along the way, this lead me to discover things like the squad numbers and how the cup was actually made, although I do hope that people who were in the cup around that time would chime in on any improvements I could do, I think I did the best I could with the little information available. When the mod was finished, the 8 Years of Rigging tournament was hosted to celebrate the 8 year anniversary of the 4chan Cup.

Divegrass Chanager 2024

A project long overdue, an experiment in FM modding to see if it was possible to faithfully port the 4chan Cup in its entirely with its tournaments and teams to Football Manager, with many hiccups along the way, the project was finally completed in 2023 for Football Manager 2024.

Originally being developed in FM18 shortly after Winter 19, later restarted in FM20 after having a catastrophic hard drive failure and finally coming out for FM24 after being in development for 4 years, Divegrass Chanager 2024 is a mod that attempts to replicate the 4chan Cup hierarchy as accurately as possible whilst also having some creative liberties due to the way Football Manager functions and it comes with the logos, 2D kits, stadium icons and 3D kits for all of those teams with two different versions of the mod; one with team-less boards and one without.

Replacing Gibraltar with Rigterra, the mod features 1794 players in 78 teams and 73 stadiums all handmade to faithfully recreate the 2023 4chan Cup season (with the exception of squads which are mostly from the 2021 4chan World Cup as constantly updating squads would be tantamount to restarting the project), all stats and results are up to date prior to the 2023 4chan Winter Cup for the start of the season.

Tournament Ideas

Winner Stays On

A tournament that starts with the 2 lowest ranked teams, winner from that match faces the rank above and so on until whoever won all those matches faces the top ranked team, yes it's unfair that the #1 ranked team can just shithouse their way past the team that had to go through all the shit but so is the nature of winner stays on. It's probably gonna be on PES 14 (1.04 luckily) since I find it A E S T H E T I C.

Example: The 2 lowest ranked teams heading into Summer 14: /3/ (55) vs /hm/ (56), winner would take on /out/ (54) and so on until they reached /trv/, the top team before Summer 14.

10 Years of Rigging

A spiritual successor to the 8 Years of Rigging that isn't The Redux Series, this would be a PES 11 Invitational with every single team that participated in the 4CC's history, a 64 team bracket to decide which team has been the best in 4chan Cup's history, would be hosted in August 2021 and this would probably be fucking massive to coordinate since I'd actually have to go around asking every single manager to make a PES 11 export of their team and make those myself for teams that are dead.

Rules:
Since the 8YOR was so great results-wise, i'd be keeping it and adding more.

• Konami's Cup mode since we have 64 teams for a straight bracket
• Regular difficulty
• 10 minutes of play
• Using the team's first ever squads for that tournament
  • Their current kits will be made using the in-game editor, much like the first 2 cups
• May or may not be live-managing.
• 3 forward players are awarded 99 stats, rest get 66 stats and the other teams are adapted into this GGG system.

Day 1: Round of 32 first half (8 matches)
Day 2: Round of 32 second half (5 matches)
Day 3: Round of 16 (8 matches)
Day 4: Quarter-finals to Final + Final Boss (9 matches)

Example: 64 teams in a single-elimination knockout bracket, would be 4 days of 8 matches, Summer 11 rules (so basically 3 golds, rest 66s and what is height abuse) with every single team that participated in the 4CC, would have to overwrite both PES League and D2 Leagues entirely alongside some unlicensed teams in Europe. Played in the Champions League mode on Watch Match mode, no managing unless managers are clambering to take part.

I shamelessly put 8 teams I like in PES 14 and see them face eachother, this is also a testing grounds for a potential Summer 14 Redux Cup and the Winner Stays On tournament I talked about earlier.

Notable Events

• La Lata is the theme of this test cup, for no reason whatsoever.
• Torres Gemelas is the theme of the semis, final and third place trophy because it's where shit got tense.
• In [s4s] vs /wg/, Duane got a goal disallowed for offside and Shrek hit the trollbar and eventually Patrick Bateman got a 90++ denied by Deal With It, the score remained at 0-0 and benuldies decided it.
• USA USA USA got the first trollpost of the tournament, hitting the post against /g/.
• XP-tan ;_; got the first goal of the tournament in the second game against /sp/.
• USA USA USA scored a wonderful individual goal, running past 4 /g/ defenders until slotting it in from the edge of the box.
• Inexplicably, Stallman took the free kick against /sp/ and got away with it
• Also inexplicably, PES erroneously showed the scoreboard as /g/ beating /sp/.
• /3/ vs /wg/ had a total of 18 shots, with 9 of them being on target but yet only one goal each.
• Bliss made 5 saves to deny /3/ but yet the match went to penalties in which he couldn't save one and /wg/ crashed out.
• minimalism was robbed of a goal, Kerning's pass to him was offside but Obongo got the last touch that sent it into the net, this would've counted as an Obongo own goal but PES chalked it off for offside.
• Stormfront got the longest goal of the tournament with a blooter that hit the bar and went in.
• Deal With It was able to nutmeg Messi with a throw under his legs.
• Dodger Leigh scored a goal as there was absolutely no /sp/ defenders in her way.
• Dodger Leigh got a goal disallowed for offside despite being a foot behind her defender.
• IT'S TWOOOOOO repeated itself with a powerful shot from Roka Shibasaki.
• /sp/ didn't get a single shot whatsoever against /wsg/.
• Maya got trollposted twice in quick succession against /pol/.
• Colins Bear attempted a backheel past JIDF, Maya was there to literally walk the ball into the net. (Goal of the Tournament)
• Jiggle Physics' ka-pow killed /3/, no trophy for them once more.
• Maya got a backwards header past De Burrs to get third place against /sp/.
• /sp/ vs /3/ had a grand total of 10 goalkeeper saves with Nazi Janitor getting 6 and De Burrs getting 4.
• Red Pill and JIDF won two penalty shootouts for /pol/, the first against /3/ and the second against /wsg/.
• During goal kicks, the goalkeepers had a tendency to boot the ball to an opposing player, no goals were scored thanks to this however.

Conclusion
PES 14's results vary wildly, I can't even decide whether to stick to Regular or use Superstar, results are pretty tight either way but I want more goals as anyone does, I'll have to do more matches.

• /mu/ vs /h/ was a match of goalkeepers as there was a total of 9 saves to keep the match at 1-1.
• Asuka had a wonderful goal ruled off for offside, chipped the goalkeeper, the goalkeeper saved it until Asuka rounded him and scored, sadly it was offside.
• Gabe Newell bullied 3 /h/ defenders off the ball to score his goal, Sanic's volley was saved and he just ploughed through them to tap it in.
• Hideo Kojima killed /h/'s Asuka, leaving them with no captain and down a medal.

This is probably going to be the last of my PES 14 test cups, this one is done to test the potential Summer 14 redux to see what teams are good with autopilot and which ones aren't, believe it or not, managers are the reason why we have matches that aren't just continuous 1-1 draws, even if 1.12 was utter shit, if a team is consistently boring I'll probably pimp up their tactics.

• Big Shake had an absolutely wonderful goal to sink /sp/, a long-range shot in off the bar.
• Cunt Destroyer had a disallowed goal against /ic/, just barely offside.
• All of the /ic/ goals were thanks to Bliss fumbling a save.
• MC Ride scored the second fastest goal of the tournament in 1 minutes and 45 seconds against /k/.
• The "Another corner begins!" glitch happened in the 18th minute of /k/ vs /mu/ and since it was watch matches mode, the match had to be restarted and played on aggregate.
• Yung Lean and Jeff Mangum had 3 chances to score all in a row in extra time, /k/'s defender forced a corner with the goalkeeper out of the picture.
• Jeff Mangum and Vining both missed their penalties in a row, giving /mu/ a 4-3 win.
• Daily Dose scored a rotating volley against /e/ to tie the match.
• Dr. Dick had a chance on a plate to equalise in the 120th minute against /e/, it hit the post and went out.
• Despite being overrun by /f/, /e/ were able to win in extra time.
• Honeybadger scored the fastest goal of the tournament in 1 minutes and 33 seconds against /b/.
• Titty Monster had a goal wrongly chalked off for offside against /vg/, the referee judged it as an offside call when she was just on par with her defender.
• Asuka scored against /vg/ thanks to a defensive mistake, she was able to steal the ball and easily slot it in, that decided the game.
• Much like in the previous tournament, /v/ scored a squat toilet via Console Peasant.
• Gabe Newell scored thanks to Iron Cast Skillet fumbling the ball into the goal.
• Hideo Kojima almost scored an own goal against /ck/, it was denied by the post.
• Hideo Kojima was later red carded from a tackle from behind against Nachos.
• At the very end of /ck/ vs /v/, Pink Himalayan Salt's chip was saved to earn /v/ the win.
• Goalkeeper fumbling seems to be a trend in this cup as >rape got the opening goal against /diy/ that way.
• And then, Derpy Hooves fumbled the ball onto the post, allowing MacGyver to tap it in.
• During the attack, MacGyver completely forgot where the ball was, 1.12 pls leave.
• /diy/ dropped their spaghetti in defence and allowed Fuck Your Marker to score.
• /diy/ fookin slipped.
• Am I Gay? scored the second squat toilet of the tournament past /x/
• Pyramid Head scored a superb volley past the /lgbt/ goalkeeper to tie up the game.
• Teru Time's goal was arguably offside, can't tell.
• /u/ had a 120++ header denied by the crossbar.
• /cgl/ vs /hr/ was riddled with refereeing mistakes, I almost replayed it just because of the times that /hr/ got refballed out of existence, offside calls that weren't offside, hell even at one point they passed it to a player that was well onside by about 2 car lengths and it got ruled offside and when /hr/ got a dangerous 90+++ throw-in, the referee blew for full time.
• cenawinslol scored for /asp/ thanks to /pol/ goalkeeper JIDF spilling the ball into the net.
• Doompaul's goal came thanks to an /asp/ player giving away a throw-in for a /pol/ corner and then Doompaul tapped it in.
• In /asp/ vs /pol/, refereeing decisions were also questionable with dubious offside calls.
• Creed stunned /toy/ with a wonderful goal, a cross from the halfway line then headed on by Creed into the net.
• Paper Plane scored a stunning volley after a deflection against /gif/.
• /wsg/ had clawed back a 3 goal deficit against /gd/
• In /wsg/ vs /gd/, every goal minute ended on a 1.
• Bob Ross was able to score past /mu/ thanks to a Merzbow save.
• MC Ride's shot hit both posts before going in against /ic/.
• Titty Monster's goal came from a defensive blunder, leaving her a simple tap-in.
• Asuka scored after Reika Kitami's backheel was saved by the goalkeeper.
• While trying to pass it back to Derpy Hooves, Twilight Sparkle hit the cross so hard that it went past Derpy and into the crossbar, we almost saw the world's greatest own goal here.
• >rape's longshot was enough to separate /x/ and /mlp/.
• /asp/ didn't have a single shot against [s4s] for the entire match.
• /tg/ vs /po/ was near impossible to see thanks to the pitch being all white, justlike a sheet of paper, yet /po/ couldn't harness the power of paper to win.
• /ic/ goalkeeper Tehmeh made two incredible saves to deny Duane an individual goal, one being a one on one and the other being a rebound from a sharp angle.
• Big Shake's shot hit both posts and went out, however Duane was there to tap it in for the opening goal.
• Honeybadger's out of the box long-ranger was enough to tie it up between /an/ and /h/.
• Asuka scored against /an/ once more thanks to Titty Monster's shot getting saved.
• /an/ got the single largest assblasting in the tournament after being level at half time, /h/ scored 5 goals in 21 minutes.
• >rape scored the tournament's first hattrick after /u/'s defence shat itself.
• Emprah forgot where the ball was during a cross from [s4s], allowing Patrick Bateman to tap it in while he just stood there.
• [s4s]-tan dummies the goalkeeper, making him fall to the ground and slotting it into an empty net to make it 3-0.
• Big Shake's usual move is long-range shots having scored 3 goals that way.
• [s4s] didn't concede a single goal until the semi-finals, giving one up to /mlp/.
  • And even ended up only conceding 2 goals in 5 games.
• Asuka nearly got the competition's first free kick goal against /mlp/ until Derpy Hooves did a one-handed save.
• >rape scored the competition's 100th goal with his only goal against /h/.
• Roka Shibasaki hit the post with a free kick against [s4s] during the final.
• Deal With It was thrown completely out of position thanks to [s4s]-tan, her cross meeting Shrek was enough to give [s4s] the goal.
• Deal With It once again was brought into question when he passed the ball straight to [s4s]-tan who then blasted it over the bar.

Conclusion
I finally fucking did it, I made PES 14 worth watching and all I needed to do was change conditions to random and not touch anything, gg lads. In terms of teams, /wsg/ are gonna be fun to watch, [s4s] has the best defence and /mlp/ are /mlp/. Shoutouts to /ic/ and /h/.
