Locked in the endless struggle of trying to turn our passion for vidya into something that actually pays money we take a brief respite while our code compiles. One of the oldest generals on /vg/ (technically predating it by a fair bit) AGDG has finally had a few devs slack off hard enough to loop around and instead make a proper team for the place. Why did it take so long? We've been... uh... busy? Yeah, busy.
All good games need a good gimmick, and while our team isn't a game (yet) we still have one:
All our player models are sourced from the AGDG community, we are as in house as we can muster. Players are designed around the models and not the other way around like usual. On our team any player without a fully modeled head is under threat of getting sacked for one that does at any time. It's a good thing this is a video game because if it wasn't team morale would be terrible.

VGL 8 Qualifiers
AGDG's first outing in divegrass would see them in a group of bizarre circumstances. After a win, a loss, and a draw they found themselves tied at 4 points with /civ4xg/. However there was no chance of advancing on Goal Differential (GD) because the day before /civ4xg/ had dealt a comically massive 8-1 blowout against /pg/. Due to how the final day shook out despite sitting on a tragic -5 GD /pg/ managed to top the group, while /agdg/ became the first team in qualifier history to fail to qualify with a positive GD (+1). Ranking 9th in a tournament where 8 teams advance, they secured the vaunted "Best Loser" position and at least for a few months lost their excuse to procrastinate on their game.
