Katawa Shoujo is a bishoujo-style visual novel developed by Four Leaf Studios. Set in the fictional Yamaku High School for disabled children, Hisao Nakai, the master of romance, has to overcome his heart condition and try to fuck five different crippled girls over five different routes. Partially responsible for the creation of /vg/, /ksg/ has been around since the very beginning, solely living on hopes and dreams of a brighter tomorrow, because it's definitely not getting any new content to discuss.
Despite this, /ksg/ has participated in the /vg/ League on-and-off since its inception, and will continue to show that a blind girl can play divegrass.
History
Act 1 (VGL 1)
In the inaugural /vg/ League, /ksg/ opened with a great group stage, coming out of it on top with wins over /feg/ and /dsg/, and a loss to /dng/. Carrying this momentum, the team would go on to beat /gsg/ in quarterfinals. Things were looking great! They then proceeded to get absolutely rocked by /acg/ in semi-finals. Things were looking bright in the third place match versus /fgg/, as they led 1-0 going into the last few minutes, but Prep Time Viscant's Dark Phoenix was just too strong. They would end their run with a 1-2 loss and a humble 4th place.
Act 2 (VGL 5-12)
After the solid showing in the inaugural /vg/ League, Katawa Shoujo General exiled themselves from the /vg/ league in order to hone their skills in solitude away from shitposting and drama. Two years later, /ksg/ returned from their soul searching in time for /vg/ League 5. Led by the revived and revitalized crapawa shitjo, /ksg/ fought their way to 2nd place after crushing the opposition, only to fall at the final hurdle in traditional cripple style. Despite this, crapawa shitjo was to score 16 times over the course of the league, the most goals in both /vg/ league and 4chan Cup history, forever going down in history as the cripple that could.
Hot off the heels of the impressive showing just a league before, /vg/ League 6 was by far /ksg/'s worst performance so far. From gifting /ink/ their first ever win to The Chocolate receiving a red card their loss against /gsg/, the only solace was avoiding the spoon with a tie against /fgog/. This was the beginning of the end. /ksg/ would fail to make it beyond the Ro16 for seven leagues in a row, up to /vg/ League 12, and the team eventually shut its doors.
Act 3 (VGL 23)
After five years absent from any form of competition, /ksg/ received its first crumb of "new content" in over a decade. In spite of the ancient April Fools joke, Katawa Shoujo would finally be available on Steam. With this second wind beneath its sails and some new participants, the general pondered its return to divegrass, and was graciously offered a spot in friendlies by /llsifg/ in order to fill in for the absent /revue/. Despite the match ending in a heartbreaking (heh) 5-2 in favor of /llsifg/, the pieces were there for a grand return.
