Eighth Founding

The Eighth Founding is the name currently given to the teams that formed after Hiroyuki Nishimura expanded the website throughout 2017 and 2018. As of April Fools Day 2018, two teams gained entry into the 4chan Cup. These teams had to demonstrate interest within their respective boards in order to be allowed to compete in the Cup, where they are set to compete in the upcoming 2018 4chan Spring Babby Cup.
Trivia
- /trash/ is the first official team that does not abide by traditional 4chan Cup team rules, namely that the board must be visible from the 4chan home page.
