The Original Sixteen's last elite team, /mu/, fell in the 2015 4chan Winter Cup. Since then, /i/ and /p/ have been Elite for short periods of time, and /asp/ continued to remain Elitesterisk until falling in the 2017 4chan Summer Cup. With the introduction of /bant/ to the Cup and their subsequent promotion from their first Fetus and Babby (not to mention /mu/ and /asp/ having missed two elite cups since losing their statuses), they became an Elite team before getting relegated from the 2019 4chan Winter Cup.
