The Golden Boot is an award given to the top goalscorer at 4chan Cup tournaments. The record for most goals scored in a cup is 14, a feat achieved by >rape of /mlp/ in the 2016 4chan Summer Cup.

From the award's inception onwards several teams consecutively failed in their attempt to win a Cup when one of their players won the Golden Boot. The curse was broken by Gundam and his team (/m/) in the 2012 4chan Spring Babby Cup, Cunt Destroyer and his team (/wg/) in the 2012 4chan Autumn Babby Cup and 2013 4chan Summer Cup, Talentless Hack and his team (/mu/) in the 2014 4chan Summer Cup, Doomrider and his team (/tg/) in the 2015 4chan Winter Cup, >rape and his team (/mlp/) in the 2016 4chan Summer Cup, Scooby and his team (/fit/) in the 2017 4chan Winter Cup, Autogynephilia and his team (/lgbt/) in the 2017 4chan Spring Babby Cup, Unity-Chan and her team (/vg/) in the 2018 4chan Summer Cup and Kaworu Nagisa and his team (/cm/) in the 2019 4chan Summer Cup. As of the 2019 4chan Summer Cup, the curse has struck in twenty two of the 4chan Cup's twenty-eight official tournaments.
