"Elite" is also the name given to the highest level of 4chan Cup competition. For more information see Elite (competition level).

Elite is a term used to describe a team that has never been relegated to a Babby Cup.

The Original Sixteen's last elite team, /mu/, fell in the 2015 4chan Winter Cup. Since then, /i/ and /p/ have been Elite for short periods of time, and /asp/ continued to remain Elitesterisk until falling in the 2017 4chan Summer Cup. With the introduction of /bant/ to the Cup and their subsequent promotion from their first Fetus and Babby (not to mention /mu/ and /asp/ having missed multiple elite cups since losing their statuses), they became an Elite team before getting relegated from the 2019 4chan Winter Cup.

Nuevo Elites

Nuevo Elite describes teams that started in the Babby, promoted immediately from their first Babby Cup and have not been relegated from an Elite Cup since.
