Genso Cup

Is it an incident or is just rigged? For the first time divegrass is spirited away to Gensokyo for an all Touhou Project themed tournament.

This tournament will be run on Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 and is organized by Shakes and sgbong. It will be hosted on the >Kourindou Cytube channel and streamed by ChickenTendies.

Rules

The ruleset will be mostly the same as the 2024 4chan Winter Cup, with the main difference being the medal system (GGSSS).

The following additional rules apply:

  • Teams:
    • All teams must directly reference or relate to the Touhou Project.
This can be anything from the mainline games, to spin-off games, music, art, print works, manga, videos, fan anime or the general Touhou Project culture.
    • Teams are allowed to have up to 23 players, but the minimum requirement is 11 starting players and at least 3 bench players for subs.
    • Benched non-players must be left without cards and with default stats, while the bench players must be the first three on the list of bench players.
  • Tactics:
    • Livemanaging is not permitted.
    • Tactics and instructions can be submitted via pastebin, but must be included in the Exports section at the deadline. Further changes or new pastebins are not permitted.
    • Single-preset tactical exports are preferred, but not required if their pastebins have instructions for preset changes.
    • Where pastebins or instructions are not provided, subs will be done the standard way (best conditioned players on pre-match, and by most tired non-medal players at 65').
Any other compulsory changes, when required (red cards, really ded), will be at the discretion of the streamer.
    • Nightly exports are not permitted, with the only exception being new exports for aesthetics fixes.

The rules may be amended before the final export deadlines, and are entirely at the discretion of the organizers.

Signup Information

The tournament format will be confirmed once the number of signups reaches eight, but could expand up to a maximum of sixteen depending on demand.
