The Moot Memorial Cup is held in honour of our beloved Moot, this cup was held to see off our favourite Space Cowboy the only way we know how, with meaningless rigged invitationals.
This specific case of rigging involved several teams that expressed interest in participating as well as a few that were brought in to fill out the numbers. It should be noted that 
/sp/ was denied entry because /sp/ can get fucked.
The teams involved were: 
/b/, because they were here first, 
/a/, because Moot loved us the most, 
/h/, because an anon's got needs, 
/d/, because the aforementioned needs have gotten very specific lately, 
/co/ and 
/ck/, because it spells cock, and the rest.

The Format
Through what was definitely not a lack of foresight and was completely planned the Moot Cup had a unique bracket structure. The twelve teams faced off in a single elimination bracket until only three remained with these teams facing each other in a Tri-nations style format with each of them playing the other teams once and the best record takes it all.
