Gensō Cup
Gensō Cup 2

To coincide with the release of Touhou 20: Fossilized Wonders, another divegrass incident will be happening this August in Genso Cup 2. This tournament is hosted by reigning champions Kishinjou icon.png /kishinjou/ and will be streamed on the >Kourindou Cytube channel and played on unpatched Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 streamed by Groudon and Shakes.

This cup will be held from August 16-17 and 23-24. Signups will close in early July.
If you would like to take part or help out with aesthetics or hype join HERE or get in contact with sgbong.

Rules

The medal system will be the same as Gensō Cup with GGSSS medals. Height brackets and ruleset unless with exceptions listed below will be the same as the 2024 4chan Winter Cup please use the save editor for that cup but disregard the message about too many silvers.

  • Teams:
    • All teams must directly reference or relate to the Touhou Project.
    • This can be anything from the mainline games, to spin-off games, music, art, print works, manga, videos, fan anime or the general Touhou Project culture.
    • Teams are allowed to have up to 23 players, but this is not mandatory, the minimum requirement is at least 11 starting players and at least 3 bench players for subs. Duplicate players on the bench are permitted as subs but this must be indicated pre-match.
    • Benched non-players must be left without cards and with default stats, while the bench players must be the first three on the list of bench players.
  • Tactics:
    • Livemanaging is permitted but the streamer has full right to ignore any instructions or delays deemed excessive.
    • Tactics and instructions can be submitted via pastebin, but must be included in the Exports section at the deadline. Further changes and nightlies are permitted after Day 1 and must be sent to sgbong.
    • Single-preset tactical exports are preferred, but not required if their pastebins have instructions for preset changes.
    • Where pastebins or instructions are not provided, subs will be done the standard way (best conditioned players on pre-match, and by most tired non-medal players at 65').
    • Any other compulsory changes, when required (red cards, really ded), will be at the discretion of the streamer.
  • Match Rules
    • Game speed will be set to +1
    • Scarlet Weather Rhapsody rules will apply with randomised weather and conditions.
