This is an invitational played in PES 2016 and will be hosted by /mlp/ in the first weekend of January (2-3). It is hosted for fun, no points are gained, but also to remember our beloved Jon Champion. Because it is hosted by /mlp/ again, don't be surprised if you see any random ponies showing up. This cup is also known as the JMC2. It features a new height system. Although the first plans were to have a system with even more freedom, without an Auto-ATF available it is nearly impossible to check everything by hand, thus a slightly different system had to be made that is easier to check with the original idea as base.

The commissioners are /clop/ with PMB being the streamer. This invitational will be streamed on a to be determined channel.

Matches

This cup will use 2 groups of 4, single leg. The top 2 of each group will advance to the KO round. #1 of Group A will play #2 of Group B and #1 of Group B will play #2 of Group A. Winners go to the final, losers to the third place match. The draw will probably be held before the cup starts.

Rules

General

  • Played in PES 2016
  • You are required to use the 4CC.JMC2 DLC to get the correct save
  • Add your export at the bottom of the page as well, please use your assigned slot
  • For the game please read Pro Evolution Soccer 2016/Installation
  • The version to be used is 1.02.01 with Datapack 4CC.JMC2
  • Daily exports will NOT be used

Aesthetics

  • All anthems and goalhorns needs to be uploaded as .mp3 in the export
  • Updated aesthetic exports for PES16 will not be used, just use the PES15 ones for now.

Other Rules

  • All pitch settings will be random, except for the length of grass which will be normal

Managing & game settings

  • The game will be played on Super Star difficulty
  • Games will be played with 10 minute halves
  • ET and PKs will be used in the KO stage
  • 3 substitutions per game per team
  • Random conditions are on
  • Player emotions are on
  • Injuries are on
  • You are not allowed to edit the position of a player at any given time before or during a match; you have 3 presets, use those
  • You have 3 time-outs per game
  • Conceding a goal will not give you a free time-out
  • Subs cost a time-out
  • Changing anything during HT will also cost a time-out
  • You are not allowed to change anything during the first 20 minutes of a game
  • Changing a preset mid game will cost a time-out, unless you have 'Change Preset Tactics' enabled and have the game change preset automatically

Tactics

  • The JMC2 will follow the GGSS system and most of the rules on the The Rules page
  • The Form setting is set to 8 for gold and silver players, and 4 for the remaining regular players
  • Injury Resistance is set to 3 for all players
  • A squad must contain at least two players with Goalkeeper (GK) as Registered Position with the Playable Position of GK set to 'A', all other Playable Positions must be set to 'C'
  • Only Registered Goalkeepers can play as goalkeeper
  • A player's registered position always needs to match (one of) his playable position(s)
  • An outfield player can never have Goalkeeper as second and/or third playable position
  • A card means COM Playing Style or Playing Skill
  • There is no global card limit
  • The Captain gets a free Captaincy that does not count against the player card limit
  • Fluid Formations are allowed
  • The JMC2 will use an updated height abuse system which is detailed below
  • There is no minimum or maximum limit of players per bracket
