2018 4chan Winter Cup

The World Wars II Cup II is a PES 2017 invitational tournament and the third iteration of the World Wars series, following the 2013 World Wars Cup and the World Wars II Cup. It is scheduled to take place after the 2017 Autumn Babby Cup and before the 2018 Winter Cup. The teams taking part in this cup will be expected to provide a PES 2017 Export and a roster for the event, that should comply with the official 4chan cup regulations. The draw took place on November 10, 17:00 UTC.

Competitors

Teams can create exports or custom aesthetics and link them next to their name to be used. The export deadline is Tuesday, November 14, 23:59pm wiki time. If no export is submitted by then, the last available official export will be used. Teams are strongly encouraged to provide a music export.

Organization and Rigging

The event will be hosted by MilSurpAnon !!UC/MlGJlOke and streamed on smashcast.tv/the4chancupcomfy and hostmoded on the official cup channel. The Cup consists of nine teams, drawn randomly into two groups of four with /bant/ having the honor of playing against the team that wins the final. /int/, as the previous winner, will be seeded into the first position of the first group. Teams will play each other team in their group once, and the top two teams from each group will then enter a four team playoff to determine the overall winner. Rules for teams, players, and manager rigging will follow those established for the 2017 Autumn Cup with the exception that only the red height bracket is allowed. That means no players taller than 189cm. Teams are not required to create themed or custom rosters/aesthetics, but are encouraged to do so.

Live-managing will be done through IRC, commentary will be done through Discord and we will use the rigcam from Autumn. This is supposed to be a stress-free environtment but it will still somewhat reflect standard cup procedures. If you want to commentate a match, follow the link to get to the sign up sheet. Important: Pre-match set-up will be used for all days and all matches of this cup. You may not submit nightly exports. In addition, if you would like to live manage, please let me know before each match day begins. If you aren't able to live manage, you can send in a pastebin. If there are no instructions, teams will be ~~rigged~~ dealt with at the streamer's discretion.
