In the true spirit of Christmas, Dragonfag !!FJeHLyDVDRa brought /4cc/ together for an impromptu invitational tournament on December 25, 2012. Teams were selected on a first come, first served basis by users of the general thread. People flocked to the stream in their single digits to watch this hastily formed, ramshackle bunch pit it out to see who would claim the final bragging rights of the year. This was the first invitational tournament appearance for /an/, /fa/, /int/, /po/, /tv/ and /x/. Most managers were unaware of the tournament taking place, though a few did put forward their own teams and bespoke tactics. The quality of the football was surprisingly high, with a number of high-scoring games. /o/ won the cup, scoring many goals along the way, after defeating /y/ in the final. 2012 finally was their year. After the tournament a three-team gauntlet of matches was set up for /o/ to play. They finished 2-0-1. /tv/ beat the unassuming /po/ to take third place.

Rules

• Games were 10 minute halves.
• Both teams were set to good (orange) conditioning.
• Game speed x1.50 was used.
• Managerial changes were not allowed.
