The second /vt/ League Divegrass Association cup, the Unity Cup, tournament. Held in January, 2025. Streamed by Cipher.

Participation in this event is not mandatory and any team that wishes not to participate for any reason may sign below, with the associated manager or caretaker signing with 4 ~ to sign the post automatically. These will close December 27th, 23:59 UTC. Example below:

Format

Unity Cup 2 will be a single-elimination tournament bracket, where teams will play a match with ET and PKs enabled to determine a winner. The winner will move on to the next round.

There will be no live-managing, only pastebins and nightlies for this event. Only teams that intend to be revived for VLT8 or played in VTL7 will be allowed into this event, with preference given to VTL7 teams.

The opening round matches will be chosen by the teams to face their desired opponent. Each round will be redrawn for desired matchups after.

Rules

This event will also be a test-run for the VTL8 ruleset developed. An editor for this ruleset is here. Other rules, including the new rules for pastebins can be found on the /vt/ League Rules page.

Nightlies will be accepted for all matches after a team's first match. They are due 12 hours before kickoff, and must follow normal Nightly rules, or will be ignored wholly. Pastebins will be allowed for all matches, but only one per day may be submitted (not per-opponent or per-round).

Players that receive two yellow cards will be suspended for the following game. Any player that receives a red card will be suspended for the following game. Cards and suspensions will not clear.
