The FLGS Cup is a sorta-kinda annual friendly competition between /tg/ and /co/.
History
The date was January 2nd, the year 2012. /tg/ and /co/ were through to the finals of the 2012 4chan Winter Cup preliminaries, but unbeknownst to both they were also on the brink of the greatest match the 4CCC has ever witnessed. For 120 minutes that day, the two boards set aside their friendship and went to war. /co/ emerged, unbeaten but not unscathed, as the victor.
In the evening of that fateful day, the /tg/ team presented to /co/ their finest drinking goblet. "In acknowledgement of our battle today, we give you this cup," they said. "But we will return soon to win it back." /co/ accepted their challenge. To seal the pact, the boards burned two of their greatest relics: a 1938 print of Action Comics #1 and a 1979 print of the Dungeon Masters Guide (autographed by Gary Gygax in Dave Arneson's blood). They sealed the ashes within the cup, and carved the cup in the style of the two boards.
When the cup changes hands from one board to the other, it it is moved with great reverence and ceremony from the shelf behind the register to either by the rack holding the DC trades and the Spiderman II promotional standee that we stole from the dumpster behind the Lakeridge Mall Cineplex or gets set on top of the glass case that has those really cool dark elf minis that one guy's older brother painted before he got that job in Pomona and gave all his terrain pieces to frickin' JEREMY who got puts his Cheeto fingers all over my new books and breathes through his mouth.

Trivia
- The FLGS Cup is always held in an open-air venue because in previous years when held in enclosed arenas very few girls attended because of "the smell". If frickin' JEREMY would shower more than once a month we wouldn't have this problem. I swear, if it wasn't for him scaring them off we'd get a lot more girls in here, man.
