Multinational Bowl 4

Multinationalb Owl 3: From Russia With Fug will be the 3rd edition of 4CC's equivalent of the World Cup, scheduled to take place after the 2018 4chan Summer Cup. The tournament will be open to all /int/ generals, other real nations, fictional, and historical nations.

Due to their victory in Multinational Bowl 2, /mn/ will be the host of this tournament.

Format

Twenty-four teams will compete in this tournament. Normal cup rules as of the 2018 4chan Summer Cup will apply. The cup will use normal exhibition mode. There will be no live-managing but pastebins and competing as an autopilot team are both permitted.

As this tournament will take place just a couple of months after the World Cup, every match will be held at one of eight stadiums of the home team's choice (streamer's choice otherwise): six IRL stadiums in Russia - Luzhniki Stadium, Krestovsky Stadium, Kazan Arena, Otkrytiye Arena, Arena CSKA, and Lokomotiv Stadium - plus two secret stadiums with an added Russian flair, up until the 3rd place match, which will be held at Krestovsky Stadium, and the final, which will be held at Luzhniki Stadium.

For the group stage draw there will be four pots, representing the three categories of teams. The Real nations have been divided into two pots of six based on the previous Multinational Bowl. Each group will have two real nations, a historical nation and a fictional nation. After the draw, the teams in each group will be rearranged according to a seed based on their performance in the previous Multinational Bowl, with all teams new for this tournament being unseeded. The higher seeds in each group will have more home games in the group stage (two for the higher seeds, one for the lower seeds). If a group has more than one team that is either new for this tournament, or did not compete in the previous Multinational Bowl, home/away match distribution among those teams will be determined by drawing of lots. The top two teams in each group and the best four 3rd-place teams will advance to the knockout stage.
