The 2025 4chan Cup Champions League will be the first attempt of the 2nd reboot of the 4chan Cup Champions League series, an annual effort to determine the one true (unofficial) champion among champions. Teams qualify for the tournament by virtue of finishing in the top 3 of Elite Cups or top 2 of Babby Cups, winning select memevitational tournaments, earning at-large spots via team rankings in the 4CC, VGL, or VTL, or by being reigning 4CCCL champion. The tournament will commence shortly after the 2025 4chan Winter Cup and will be conducted in PES 2017, hosted in the VTL Cytube

As the winners of the 2020 4CC Champions League, D icon.png /d/, who was supposed to be the host of the aborted 2021 edition, will be the host for this year's tournament.

Competitors

Twenty-eight teams will punch their tickets into this year's edition of the Champions League. /d/, as champions of the 2020 edition, earned an automatic entry into this year's main tournament. Ten entries will be reserved for the top teams of the four 4chan Cup tournaments in 2024, three entries will be reserved for the top teams in the post-Autumn 2024 4CC rankings that have not already qualified, six entries will be reserved for the winners of the /vg/ League, /vt/ League, and Friendship Association Games tournaments in 2024, and one additional entry each will be reserved for the top team in the most recent VGL and VTL rankings (a total of 22 teams earning direct advancement into the main tournament). The winners of six invitational tournaments in 2024 will enter a special qualifying stage for the last two spots in the main tournament.

Sign ups

  • Since this cup has already selected teams it's important that if you decide that your team is not participating you make organization know with time so we get in contact with a replacement for your spot.
  • Sign ups will be open until January 10th 2025 23:59 UTC, after that period if a team is not signed up they will be considered as not participating and a replacement will be looked for.
  • There's a limit of 1 managed team per manager, after that it is possible to sign up a team but only as a caretaker, an export can be provided if the caretaker wishes for.
  • For caretakers that do not submit an export the winner export of their respective team will be adapted into the ruleset under the organization discretion, always trying to keep it as close as possible.
  • Managers don't need to be the same ones that originally managed their team, but they do need permission from the original manager to do it.
