The New Thread Cup will be a /vg/ League hosted invitationals intended to give new managers, testers, or people who have an interest in managing a proper chance of getting practice. This tournament will be hosted in PES21 using a patch to be determined very soon. Live managing is allowed and highly encouraged, if you cannot live manage for a game you must submit a pastebin. Autopiloting is heavily discouraged for this event. All teams will be existing or newly founded VGL teams that can only be managed by managers that have little to no prior management experience in any setting that has a competitive live management scene such as the /vg/ League or the 4chan Cup.

The rules for this tournament are as follows:
- The same rules we currently use for VGL.
- Only managers who have less than a year of full live management experience may sign up. Total newbies are welcomed as well.
